The new bridge does everything promised but it was no small task to get it there. After following the direction very closely, I was able to swap out the bridge and transfer the lights without an issue. The problems started went I tried activating Siri with the Bridge. Apparently the Apple HomeKit was already activated through one of the Apple updates and it needed to be cleared out for the bridge to be recognized. Additionally I had to delete and download again, the Hue app on my phone. But having got past all that, the bridge and the voice control work great.

I had a lot of issues setting it up with my router. Finally got it to work. All my hue lights work great. I guess the bridge gives you more customization.

Great hub for Hue lights. Already passed 50 so had to add in a second bridge. Well worth the money to me.

It's working fine. We could control the lights connected through assistant devices, apps, and voice commands.

It is so much fun to choose different colors for the mode you or in. The variety to choose from is amazing. You can make the room bright with hot colors and soft with warm colors.

This bridge works very well, stays connected to my network with no issues. I have it connected with my lights and works great through the app and when asking Alexa to turn lights off and on!

It bridge worked the way i needed, but i had to buy a wifi range extender to place the bridge closer to the lights i needed it to control.

This was exactly what I needed to connect all of my Smart Samsung Phillips Hue lights, Alexa, and Fire TV devices. Easy set up and connection.

Nothing much to say, I needed a new one after my prior one was smoked by lightning strike. Need it to operate my hue lights.

The lights are great. The setup SEEMS simple. The native app to operate is abysmal!!!!! Before you buy do a search for "Ouch! The update failed to install. Please try again." That will take you several flame forums, some aimed at the developers who give you script/codes that YOU have to implement on the bridge. "Ouch"? Maybe if they didn't try being so familiar or cheeky and instead spent some effort to prove they are actually taking their task seriously it would have merited another star from my rating. Unless you can push an update from the 2.19 version you'll only have the function of turning the lights on and off, changing their colors and the lava effect. You won't have the option to automate/schedule, not in the manufacturer app at least.

This tech is not for everyone but those who enjoy control lighting and would like to jazz up some boring aspect of the house now can do it with a touch of a button as well using Alexa if lazy like me

I bought this Hue Bridge to integrate into my Samsung SmartThings. I now have to option of controlling it both from my SmartThings App and also from the Phillips Hue App on my Android phones and Tablets.

Love it! It connects all the hue products together for a real seamless experience

Installed some recessed lighting in my girlfriends kitchen. They are all Hues. Needed the bridge which some find annoying but I think it makes the system work better.

Doesn't take long to setup and update, It looks okay out in the open and behind hidden doesn't effect signal. Zigbee helps the bulbs communicate so I never have a problem with lag or non responsive bulbs.

Great product. Would definitely recommend as a gift for a tech enthusiast

The hub is a necessary evil for a Hue lighting system. Just keep in mind that if your lights are too far away from the Hub, it may occasionally have troubles communicating (especially through Amazon Echo). Since you can't add a second Hub as a repeater, you have to plan accordingly.
