This makes the use of the Phillips lights very easy but I think this should not be in the place of the light strip and phone. This cause more money to be spend to use the light

Lots of apps, even for Windows phone, that control the lights and their colors. Some of the colors aren't too close to what they're supposed to do, but I enjoy the moods and messages you can send. I use this, with my Amazon Echo, which is the key to a "simple" Home Automation system.

Works great to adjust lights throughout the home. Connects to the network and app with no problem.

for one reason or another google stopped suppoting Gen 1 Hub integration and so i had to replace my old one. moving the LIghts and settings from Gen 1 to 2 was unbelievably cumbersome and i ended up having to reset everything and add the lights one after the other again

Works, what else can I say. only complaint is that sometimes we have to reconnect certain Hue devices if the power is lost, like due to a power outage. Nice integration with Alexa as well

i like it better than the bluetooth light control. i've been using it for months now and has never failed me so far. the first one I bought was the blue tooth control and i returned it the following day.

Hue bridge is pricey nut necessary to control all hie devices. But it does free up every item needing wifi access

Was tricky getting the hue and the app to sync but went fairly easy once you move the bridge closer to the router. Haven’t had any problem since I bought it. (Few weeks ago)

Never had the first generation bridge so I am unable to compare the set up process for this. However, the set up process for the 2nd generation bridge was very quick and easy. Took less than 3 mins.

It can be better but it works extremely well especially with the Wi-Fi helps with my lights make my room look really cool totally recommend it

Great accessory to the Philips Hue lights. Have multiple sensors throughout my house. Had to finally change the batteries after a 18 months.

Originally I used the 2nd gen echo show as my hub but you are limited on the stuff you can do. This bridge allows for extra features that make hue products more fun.

Paired with the Hue Play Gradient Strip, adds a fun to our home theatre. Also creates deeper immersion in what we’re watching.

It was purchased as a replacement. My original was first gen and I was a little concerned if my lights would connect very pleased with the purchase it connects very quickly and easily

Honestly I have not set this up yet, so I can not give a proper review. But what I can say is I seen the reviews and it looks like its good

I spent over $1,000 on lights for my office and I have no regrets! They make the place. Setup was a breeze and controlling them from the wireless remote or from my iPhone is easy.

Purchased the hue play lights and this came with it for free! Can’t go wrong with an extra! I will be using it for sure as I add to my Phillips smart home collection.
