    Don't know what to really say. You need this bridge to operate your hue lights. 1 bridge for up to 50 lights. Setup was painless and simple. I got my bridge FREE with the purchase of Hue Play light bars during a sale.

    Google suddenly stopped supporting Gen 1 so i had to upgrade. it works - had to go through 2 of them, the first was defective
