These work as described, but aren't very bright, and are more of the 'yellowish' LED light (2700 K) whereas I would've preferred a 'bluish' or 'whitish' LED color instead (5000K-3000K), They're used over our kitchen island, which already had pendant lights, but since these are smart-bulbs, we connected them to our Echo system and can voice-control them. As prices have greatly come down for the smart-bulb technology, I felt these were overpriced, but traded the ease & convenience of online shopping vs. travelling to a brick & mortar store to browse. As with many smart-bulbs, you must download their APP to get it to communicate with your Echo or google system.

I find that the philips hue system works best when working together with other Philips products. I purchased this to work with Alexa in a set of lights for a fixture. All the lightbulbs were able to be grouped together and turn on and off together when giving the command to do so. The only complaint I have is the pricing on the bulbs. They are very expensive, especially when there are off-brand ones that are so much cheaper. I still prefer the Philips brand though, as I find that they "just work."

These work exactly as intended! I went looking for candlelight bulbs for my living room and master bedroom and these were exactly what I needed. I am creating a smart home and worried I wouldn't be able to use these two fan lights but located these at Best Buy and they work perfectly!

I have the lights all through the house and my entry light right outside the door takes these smaller candle bulbs. Was worried it would light up well but it definitely exceeded any regular candle light bulbs by alot! I could actually turn down the brightness a bit. Plus I couldnt find the pair of bulbs at the price anywhere else but Bestbuy.

My wife love the automation. We use them on the garage.

Connecting the bulb to bluetooth via the Hue app is simple enough, but connection to Google Home can sometimes be more problematic. Pro tip: connect the bulb to Hue, apply any possible hardware/firmware upgrade (the app will notify you if one is available), and THEN connect to Google Home. Odds are, you won't even see the bulbs in Home if there is a pending hardware/ firmware upgrade.

I love all my Hue lights. These make a great addition to any nightstand or reading light. And having the hue light set up is awesome because then you can program it or turning on and off automatically when you're going to wake up or go to bed.

They work great. Problem with all lights with Hue is that they are a little over priced. I have a ceiling fan these go in but the fan takes 3 bulbs and I don’t want to buy another 2 pack and have 1 sit around for years. Would be nice if they came in the same number that ceiling fans hold.

Love the lights connect easily to my hub but could be cheaper.

Setup is a breeze, incorporates seamlessly with HomeKit, and does everything I need. 3Rd party apps are hit or miss but those plus IFTTT make it a formidable addition as the best of the few smart lights I recoc to

Brought these to put on my front porch because I want lights that I could set to come on and go off at a specific time. These exceeded my expectations. The light is so bright at 100% I had to lower it 40% brightness. I love Hue light.

great idea for ceiling fan light when you don't want to replace ceiling fan itself. fan still works with remote but light not working. needs internal part. my ceiling fan does not have strings..it is a remote control.

The Phillips- HueWhite Ambiance E12 Bulb 2-pack works perfectly with the Hue bridge. These lights can be turned on and off with your i- phone, I pad or apple watch. Just perfect for lamps that take candle bulbs.

Was so easy to replace the light bulbs in an old pull chain sconce, and add a Hue switch so the sconce can be controlled by the door to the room.

I put these in my bedroom fan. Want to be able to tell the lights to go off yet leave the fan running for sleep. Also don't want to have to get out of bed to turn off the lights. These work great and look good too.
