I ordered a 65” light strip from Beach Camera through Best Buy but received a 55” version instead. When I reached out, the initial communication was confusing — they offered me a $10 refund to keep the wrong item, even though there’s about a $30 price difference between the two when I purchased. It also took several days at a time for them to respond, and as the days passed, I grew increasingly concerned about my refund deadline approaching with no clear resolution. I would have appreciated it if they had clarified from the start that they couldn’t process exchanges and could only issue refunds. That would’ve saved time and worry. To their credit, once I followed up repeatedly, they eventually sent a return label and confirmed I’d receive a full refund once the incorrect item was returned. Overall, I wish the process had been more transparent and timely, but I’m glad it’s finally being resolved.

While expensive, this is one of their best products. Most other behind the TV strips just don’t compare. The need for the expensive Hue Play box is a turnoff when you want the content to change the backlighting.

The colors are bright and really enjoying the progressive color change instead of only being able to have one color at a time.

It is worth the purchase atm, but make sure you get the hue play sync box or you’re only going to get regular lightstrip features. Definitely way better quality than the normal lightstrips from hue though! I’ll rate again in 2 years.

[Employee of bestbuy] A bit complicated but pairs well with my OLED TV, does reduce eye strain. Turns out we are not supposed to watch tv in absolute darkness.

Sticky mounting strips don’t affix very well. The thing falls off my tv despite following the instructions. Gravity is the pits sometimes :( The lights are great, but the proprietary ac adaptor can be difficult to mix n match even with other hue light strips.

This light strip is gorgeous. The distribution is even, the clips are fool proof and I absolutely love the synchronization. Just remember: YOU NEED THE HUB AND SYNCH BOX. If you do not have the hub, the light will remain at warm bright setting.

Good light strip. Does what is expected. Note, the 3m tape kept falling. Had to buy my own double tape so that it stays on the tv.

I love it, it works well, it's easy to install, the high price doesn't make sense, but it's good

Immersive viewing experience when paired with the Hue Sync Box! Had been debating this purchase for a while as I had a pretty nice setup using just play bars. No regrets. Looks fantastic. Really adds a new level to watching content.

Work as intended, adds light to the TV. Sticker doesn't hold for too long but you can purchase the 3rd party ones to glue it through

These lights are so fascinating and have transformed our movie nights! Well worth the price!

The build quality is great, and the lightstrip is very responsive and bright. However, I wish there were more options to paint the lightstrip sections when it isn't being used by the sync box. Otherwise this is a great product.

I still need to get a different part to connect the color to tv display but so far it’s been a really good back light!

awesome light strip. Each small section can display a wide variety of colors. Watch a video of how it works. Then you'll buy it.. Oh Yes, Please read how to install it before you put I on your tv. Its hard to fix once it is up.

Mounting strips broke off my TV already. The light is high quality but needs to have that expensive HDMI box that makes the lights dance to what's on the screen built into smartTV tech or into things like Xbox, android, and sony systems. I can't use these amazing lights and get the full potential out of my amazing computer setup or the Xbox series x or PlayStation 5. Really bad missed opportunity. Don't buy the HDMI box if you have any HDMI 2.1 hardware (as of this date, they may come out with another updated box) since it doesn't support the HDMI 2.1 standard, the price would seem otherwise.

I love the extra boost this gives my living room and home theater experience. I had to of the play bars before and thry did not do the job. These look amazing. Now to add the box to complete the system!

Worth the cost if you have a full hue house! Definitely not a starter light as you need all the other lights to go with it.
