Let me start buy saying this "setup" is amazing. I say it that that because you dont just buy lights and a sync box you need the bridge as well so after you get the minimal setup and figue out setup you have an amazing home theater addition. I only gave 4 stars for the fact that sometimes it will lose sync so i have to open the app and resync it. If that didnt happen it would be 5 stars for sure

Stay away from those cheaper TV lights! This is the big leagues of ambiance and far exceeded my expectations. Just bought more Phillips Hue products. Simply amazing product.

So, I love this product and had been waiting on it to be released for a while; however, be sure to double check that your strip doesn’t have “dead spots”. I had to return my first one because there was a section of lights that would stay green when the rest of the strip was changing colors. At first I noticed it when watching action movies, and didn’t think much of it, but when I had a set scene the spot was still there.

If I'm being honest, I was a bit on the fence on this product. A light strip that was just about the price of the Sync box if not more. I'm glad I made the purchase. It's fun to sit down with the family and have the lights and the dramatic scenes just pop as things change. Would recommend if you have the coin to put out for it.

Very well made - sturdy yet flexible. We bought this for my teenage son's room and he has it behind his headboard so it puts the light up the wall. He really likes the app and being able to change colors and have it timed with the lights he has on his monitor and desk.

Fantastic product, such an improvement over the Philip hue tv light strips.

I’m giving these lights 2 stars for the quality they are beautiful very bright and have every color imaginable . Cons they are expensive and not easy to use on their own they don’t work you need to buy an additional hue bridge to control them and if you want to sync them with your media you need to buy the hue sync. After spending more than 500 I was disappointed that you can’t sync directly with your tv you have to sync them though a streaming device most of us use our smart tv now days so it’s seriously outdated technology . I will wait to see what improvements new models hace and maybe purchase those .

Way better than the Hue Play bars... but oddly enough doesn't have any light coverage on the bottom of the TV. You'll have to purchase more Hue Play products for that. (I have 2 play bars on the bottom in my picture.
