I had the Hue Play lights and this is an awesome upgrade from that. Been using it now for a month and works great. Build quality seems premium and attaches to the TV much better.

love the color vibrancy... paired with the sync box the effect and immerive sense watching movies is phenomenal... love the ecosystem and im a long time lifx user

If you want synchronized lighting for the back of your TV I HIGHLY recommend this! Make sure you purchase the other pieces you need to make it work! (Unless you already have them)

Setting up the Hub was a pain, but after, the lights were amazing, easy to customize what’s happening in the app.

Super bright, vibrant lighting. Only downside is the strip itself is a bit stiff, perhaps needs to just be broken in. Mounting brackets also not too easy to apply to Sony Bravia (x950).

The Gradient Light strip does a great job. I went a little longer in order to future proof my purchase. Can't wait to upgrade to my 75 inch tv in the near future.

Greatly enjoy watching movies with these, wish that it could work with the Hue Sync box on next gen gaming at the higher refresh rate.

Hue family are great purchases to upgrade any room. Love the variety of modes and lights. Definitely get the hdmi sync box.

Not sure how I lived without these lights. They add a whole new experience when watching tv or movies now. I paired mine with the Hue sync and wow.

Looks great behind the tv with the sync feature. Had to reattach the clips a few times, but not that big of a deal

I upgraded from two light bars to this light strip, it’s a big improvement. Pretty easy to set up if you already have hue sync installed.

Very happy with the lights and love how it’s Bluetooth and pairs to my phone so easy.

For one thing the light strip keeps popping out of the little plastic mounts which is really annoying. It's cool when it's tucked properly behind the TV, but when it springs out in the middle of a movie and hangs there like a neon snake it doesn't exactly feel like a premium device. To make things worse this light strip requires a $250 Hue Sync box to sync with your TV. So combined you're looking at $450 to make some light bounce around behind your tv. There are no options in the Hue App to use the multi colored features in these $200 light strips. I would raise this review to 4/5 stars if it did. I was also told this light strip would sync to colors I screen share from my phone to my TV using the Hue Sync app, but that doesn't work. All the Hue Sync app does is sync to the $250 Hue Sync box which I don't have. Since mine keeps coming off the mounts I may return it. Another problem is the little micro usb connector that connects this lightstrip to the power adapter is extremely flimsy. After I opened mine I plugged it in to see what it looked like, and when I moved the strip around a little it flickered due to a weak connection in the wiring. Makes me wonder how long this will last and I'm definitely on the "return it" side right now.

Excellent addtion to my hue lighting environment. Adds another dimension to watching TV. You'll need the Hue Sync Box in order to use this. Expensive but WORTH IT!

Part of the light setup to go with my new tv and sound bar. Completed the whole viewing experience. Used the 65” on my 85” tv that is 12” off the wall
