I brought this item as an Open box (Good Condition) no major issues written on the comment part that this item will be defective after use. If anything, I would recommend buying a new box instead of an open box because they will never replace you with the greek squad protection as promise. They sold me an item that is defective and won’t do anything to replace it. Now i’m having to contact the manufacturer to help me replace an item that should be fix by Best buy greek squad.

Product is extremely buggy. Must buy Phillips Bridge ($60) and Phillips Box ($250) if you don’t have an OLED TV. And then if you have a 4K TV, when playing XBOX series X you have to reduce the quality to 1080p. Issue is all over Reddit. Phillips is really trying to nickel and dime you on this one. BUYER BEWARE. Sync also randomly stops and just turns white. Save your money and time. See picture. Clearly not synced with color. (Purple).

I bought mine for the back of my tv. I dont have the play box so basically is a si goe color light. Not even able to use as a gradient light.

Not the easiest to set up but once its set, it worked pretty awesome!

Bought the open box in “excellent” condition that includes all original parts, packaging and accessories (or suitable replacement). I received a brown box with just the light strip and a sim popper from a samsung device. No adhesive mounts, no power cord. I was expecting to get a great deal on the lights since I’ve bought open-box products from best buy before and they’ve all worked great. This time I got scammed.

I purchased this gradient light strip on December 2, 2024. Today is February 23, 2025, and only a small portion of the lights light up. This was very expensive to only last a couple of months.

This device is by far the only device I’ve ever been completely dissatisfied with from Phillips. The securement devices for the TV do NOT hold it, it’s fallen out multiple times, and it will not latch no matter how hard I try. The worst part I’ve tried to fix it for too long & now it’s not returnable.

Be careful when buying this lights they are very delicate and not as bright as the other led strips.

Setup was relatively easy. I had my wife help me remove the TV from the wall so I could easily apply the adhesive guides/supports. Sticking them to an OLED panel was a bit nerve wracking as I was trying to apply enough force to get a good stick, but not so much as to damage the thin panel. No harm, no foul. Adding this light strip to my Hue bridge was as easy as any other hue light. I love that I can add it to a room like a normal light as well. It's done an excellent job brightening up a dark corner of the room. The effect while watching is awesome and it instantly won over my wife, who was initially skeptical (as was I). I'm looking forward to enjoying more movies and games! For me the value is there because when it's not being used to sync colors to the TV it's a wonderful lighting addition for the room. I wish I bought it sooner!

I’ve had this light for a few months now and it is absolutely amazing and it really adds to my movie watching/video game playing experience! This is an absolute must have for any avid Hue user who has the Syncbox. Obviously, this light projects onto more area than the original light strip but it’s also much much brighter. It should be noted, it only covers the lengths of the top and sides of the tv, not the bottom. Don’t buy the size above the one recommended because the sections of colors will not accurately correspond to their location on the screen. The setup was insanely easy. Unboxing it, taking down my tv, applying the plastics clamps, putting the tv back up, and connecting it to the Bridge took a grand total of about 10 minutes... if that. This has a little more to do with the Syncbox itself but I love the amount of settings. You can set the brightness and the intensity of the lights (the amount they change or the frequency at which they transition). You have the options between video, music, and game. Video and game are obvious but music is great for when you’re playing music but with the screen off, it’ll sync to the rhythms. I can’t say enough good things about this light... though it is on the pricey side. That being said, if you’re a first time user of Hue, get your feet wet before you dive on in and commit as it’s a pricey endeavor. If you’ve used Hue long enough, try the Syncbox BEFORE you get the light just so you know you’re happy with it (there was about a six month period between the purchase of my box and my light). And lastly, if you do have the Syncbox, get the light strip, you won’t regret it!

Awesome experience to add to our TV, gaming and other video experiences. Music is nice but not coordinated in the same manner as video. we use this with the Phillips Hue Play Sync which is the way to go, Setting that up is tricky and took some experimentation, but we have it working with 4 devices routed through it to the TV. That would be another review though! the color rendition is exceptional and goes from brilliant to nuanced and moody. Wonderful, easy to install.

I got one for the living room and this thing is literally the star of the show. I have two light bars and this strip is a diva and wants all the attention and she gets it. Lights the whole area behind the tv beautifully and if you have the sync box you can make the lights dance with the colors on the tv. Highly recommended if your a fan of color like me.

Keep it simple. Is this product expensive? Absolutely. Does this product work? Absolutely. Is it worth YOUR money? Only you can answer that. But as far as rating this product based off what it’s supposed to do, it’s 5 star minimal. I’d give it 10 stars if there was an option.

I am using these as lumination under my couch and loveseat and the ambiance it brings to the atmosphere is amazing. The only thing that I would wish for is that I wished the design of the lights would bend better for a better fit under the couch. Outside of that they provide incredible movie magic to my living room increasing the experience to elevated levels that I was not expecting. The different levels of lighting and the seemingly endless color combinations is outstanding. I Love It!
