I bought this to see what effect it would have on watching movies. I set them up behind my computer monitor pointed towards the wall. If you are already in the hue ecosystem this is pretty easy to set up.

This is soooo cool its easy to connect and once it’s hooked up you are locked in to experiencing a different way of playing games and watching movies. Add the Hue sync and it is a game changer

I like them very much. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the size they seem too small compared to the advertised. They should put a size comparison with the images. Perhaps that's the only kinda issue I found but they're GREAT!

I've been the Hue Play lights since they were first released, and the Best Buy Member pricing this holiday season was fantastic: $99.99 for the set AND a $50 gift card. I have the Play lights set up behind my Samsung in my living room. Our living room suffers from lack of lighting; no walls lights, and I haven't found any floor lamps I like (EXCEPT the Hue Signe Floor Lamp...but pricey at $249.99!!!). We have some ambient light from our dining room (my home has an open floor lamp) but I was using a Hue Go to supplement the lighting. My problem has been solved with the two Hue Plays. At the highest setting, they provide plenty of light. Wish I had bought two sets when the sale was going on. :(

These are mounted on the back of my 65 and they are the perfect brightness. They have other features from them just being colorful lights. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

This product is fantastic and has made my TV watching so much better. All I have to do is tell Alexa to turn on the vibes and she whips up beautiful reds and blues. Will buy a set for each tv!!

These lights work great on my PC! Took me a bit to figure out what brightness worked for me, but once I did that they have been amazing. Plus they can sync up with all my Razer stuff, so bonus.

My husband and I are in love with this product. It’s absolutely tranquilizing. The lights go perfect with the tv, the best movie to watch with this item is Avatar. I definitely recommend it.

Very easy setup with great light variation. Throws the light farther than strip lights. Multiple ways of attachment and positioning. Works with Siri, Google Home and Alexa. The only negative is if you pay full price. Look for it on sale.

Honestly, not quite sure why I bought this but it sure does add immediate and customization atmosphere at the press of a button (on the app) Easy plug and connect to wifi set up.

A nice product but definitely feels incomplete. You can sync to music from your phone or tablet with third party apps but the effect is so-so. You can’t sync with movies unless you have a hue sync box. Still a good beginner set though.

Have this synced to my computer and its fun to play with music. Easy to set up, just get the Hue sync app, plug everything in, and you're ready to go. Got a good deal with Best Buy too.

It has very good lights that can get very bright, this is the first product I have had that went through a hub and it works so much better. I attached them to the back of my monitors and the adhesive holds very well

I bought this on sale for very cheap and I would not have been willing to pay any more. This product is designed to provide a more immersive experience by extending colored lighting beyond your computer screen using the computer app. You can use them with your tv if you choose to stream from your computer but I found this method unreliable. You can also use them with your tv using the hdmi sync box (very expensive, doesnt work with smart apps or dolby vision at this time). I don't use this product as it is marketed. I use the light bars on their own to "paint" walls different colors. The included hue bridge allows me to control the lights via my smart phone app and other connected devices. I can't review the product for its primary use with computers as this is not how I use the lights.

Great LEDs for accent lighting. I have them behind my TV. There is a hub that is $200+ where it allows you to sync the color to the video on your TV. They are pricey at full retail.

Kicks it up a notch, the movie watching experience. Control the colors on the app, set moods and what not. Easy to install amd set up. Check it out!!

I set it up in my bedroom and living room to give the rooms some cool atmosphere effects. Easy to set up and included the base station which now controls a total of 4 of the lights.

We have one of these lights on either side of our TV and another on top of a cabinet. The provide nice accent light in the room. They were very easy to setup.

This is a good way to add a splash of color to your tv area. We already have a lightstrip around the tv but used this to light up the area around the tv and console. Works great!

Sure you can go with led strips off Amazon but these lights are far more customizable and are very bright. I bought a set for my sons PC rig and ended up buying a set for myself.
