I bought these as an addition to my TV back lighting. They works good. I figure the Hub is a bonus just in case. By itself it's $50. Easy to set up.

I plan on expanding more philips products which makes this a great buy. There are cheaper products out there but you get what you pay for.

The lights were very easy to add as is with most Hue line up. I have it set up behind my 65" Samsung curve and it's bright and I have no complaints.

I use this product to shine color behind the TV for accent lighting. Pairs well with my current Hue Bloom setup. Great addition to my current setup.

The hue play starter kit is really cool! I got lights on each side behind the tv! It’s really easy to install. I would recommend it to a friend!

Decided to use these over the kitchen cabinets to cast a wide ambient spread and they look great. They work well with apple HomeKit.

They are the best lights for a amazing experience in home while seen a movie,playing games or just relax at the area you will be chilling.

These lights are kind of expensive but I got for a great value 20 off and a 50 gift card. They work very good and r cool to use with pc games

I can’t tell you enough how good these lights are. They are awesome and the ease of use is great. I will continue to purchase from this brand.

I am a big fan of Hue lights so don't let the relatively high price set you back. Sure there are other lights that can do similar things for a lot less but none of them have the software support that allows you to use Hue lights that can generate color ambience automatically through software. You can have them dance to music, be programmed to create their own light show, and what I like best is the ability to sync colors on the screen with additional software such as Hue Sync or through their hardware box, the Hue Play HDMI.

I put these lights behind my large screen TV. I love that I can change the color of the lights to match my mood or the program I am watching.

I’m slowly converting all lights to hue. This is a fantastic lightning option if you can afford it.

The setup is super easy and works great. Only issue I have is you cant really angle it up anyway. Other than that the lights look great

It's a great kit for first time beginners. It's easy to use and setup. There's always a way to integrate them into your living room setup with a capture card like an Elgato.

The lights are bright enough for nice backlighting but not to bright that it takes away from the room. Definitely recommend.

These play bars are a good addition to a gaming TV setup. I wish they were a little brighter but they work pretty good otherwise. This is a good alternative to an ambilight clone.
