Great starter kit

A better kit combination would have been the lights and hue sync the ridiculously over priced additional piece of equipment that is needed to set the lights to play TV and video game backgrounds. through two apps I am able to control the lights to my liking phillips hue app and the hue switcher. and only for a small additional monhly fee can my experience be enhanced.

Also, it does a great job of syncing with any videogame you have. The app can be buggy and there are tons of glitches that make it impossible to have it automatically turn everything off or be confident everything turns on to your preset as set. The automation is wonky but fixable.

Sits behind my TV and makes it easier on the eyes when watching TV at night. Just a side note, you need to buy the HDMI Sync Box controller to allow the lights to sync to the TVs color. This is a separate purchase of $150+ ... Honestly, not worth it; just use the app to set to a single color (if i'm watching Grass played sports i'll change to green ; movies dimmed warm white does the trick)
