It really enhanced the lighting in my great room! Great product!

I get why people say Philip Hue is overrated but I love the whole echo system. Once I got the starter kit I could t stop buying other products. I put these behind my monitor (not for gaming) and I love the backlighting when I’m working or just to have them on when I’m watching tv.

This system is something that should be added to any entertainment system. It will enhance your experience. It is worth the purchase. Purchase this kit along with the SYNC Box. You will have everything needed to get it up and started. Drop me a line! Let me know how you are enjoying it!!

I love this light but I can give only 4 stars because of its pricy.

I currently user these on my gaming setup on my pc. I have the lighting synced to my screen si that the lighting synchronizes to my displays. The presentation is really immersive and does not detract from what is on screen. I am now looking at adding hue light bulbs to my ceiling fan.

Like all philips products, the quality is amazing and install is self explanatory. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was the fact that the cable between lights were not long enough. I was going to use it for my big 82’ TV and wire would reach on both ends. Had to get the strip instead which resulted better. Other than that, highly recommend it.

This is my first set of smart lights and I'm totally sold on this kit. The light sync with my PC is amazing and allows me to have some light in my office and it's so cool to see the lights change colors with the games. Highly recommend this starter kit for people just starting out.

I paired these new lights with the Hue Sync and some other lights I already owned. They are shaped so that they can lay down or use the included stands. My living room now mimics a movie theater with all the colorful hues the lights throw off. This has made my lockdown more palatable. The lights are pricey but reliable.

These work wonderful for making the effects on the tv seem more dramatic and they are great. The only thing if you want them to cordinate with the tv/movie you will need to buy the sync box for that. Other than that highly recommend buying it with the Philips hue light strips

Somewhat easy to connect. Wished worked without its own hub

The lights create a nice atmosphere but they I assume would have looked better had they covered more area. Since, they are behind the TV and facing the wall. I was expecting them to create a lot more portion of the wall and create a nice atmosphere but they they cover very little area. Though it looks nice and fancy but not that useful.

These are one of the best Philips Hue lights that you can buy for your TV or Monitor. Works well with their app but I feel without the Philips Hue Sync Box there might a a lil constraint to play this on TV without hooking up the laptop for syncing.

It's got a unique form factor, ideal for backlighting TV. Most of it's value lies in the capabilities of the Hue platform rather than the product itself. Also consider that you may require the rather expensive sync box for lighting with colors tuned to content displayed on TV - this feature also works on regular Hue white smart bulbs.

Snagged these on sale for 99$ and got a 50$ gift card on top. They stick to the back of your tv and project light. There’s a sync box that will emulate light colors from what’s on the TV. Really impressive. I’m a huge fan of hue right now, the possibilities are endless.

I like the kit a lot, its a great starter kit for what it does. However the setup process with app took some time and the options/settings are not very intuitive in the app as well. If the app gets better over time I could see myself investing more in their products.

We have these in 3 different rooms and have them set to have routines and scenes. The accessories for these devices are a must if you don't want to fuss with your phone or tablet. Looking forward to seeing more ambient smart lighting options for homes and better integrated sensors and contextual awareness.

This kit is responsible for starting my Hue addiction. Goes great with the PC, I have four lightbars behind my monitor and along my desk that really help with game immersion and adds something special to movie viewing. I recommend the Play HDMI Sync box as well.

I got these for my boyfriend's birthday. He had already been eyeing them for a while and he loves them! They are fun, have so many color options, and add a whole new level of immersion with TV or games with the sync feature. Highly recommend!
