I wanted to use it with the phillips hdmi unit to back light my TV. The hdmi unit failed and I saw no purpose in keeping this. Seems overpriced compared to what else is out there.

Got 2 sets. One on the top shelf of my desk as lights rather than having lamps. The other is on the back of the TV in the master. They are great and are my fav hue lights.

The hue play starter kit was just what I needed to get started but it showed me that investing in the product gave me the home theater experience that i was looking for. I love it.

Excellent way to change the mood of your surroundings. Easily connects and syncs to the Hue ecosystem with many color options to choose from to match your mood.

I was so uncertain if id enjoy these. after having them i bought additional sets and the sync box to increase the experience. A bit pricy as is all hue products but they are fun.

I absolutely love using this system with my computer. Videos and games just seem to pop now with the added light show behind the screen. Not sure how I went this long without them?

Works great, I use two lights on either side of my TV to provide some colorful backlighting. I do wish that the extra bars were more affordable, since two alone aren't enough to cover a large area.

I purchased these while on sale and can’t say enough about them. They can lay flat and project towards a wall that can stand upwards and they can be attached. They work very well

love these lights..can place them anywhere and they look great in addition to the strips and bulbs. Hue lights are just fun to play with and my collections is coming together.

I put this on the back of my TV and it creates such a great atmosphere. I especially love my hue lights over the holidays. These really add to the experience

Got this light kit and put it in my bedroom. i used it instead of regular lamp. It is so cool that the color can be changed and i can sleep through the night with it is on.

Setup was rather simple. Light bars were made with ordinary plastic and nothing fancy. I also bought an additional set of light bars. I have Google Home but this product won't work with it!

Lights change the room! We remodeled a bedroom into a man cave and set up these lights behind a 55" TV, The whole wall now glows with different colors.

This kit is great when watching with movies or gaming! Adds a nice touch of color ambience to the room for scenes and add matching color. You can also individually change the color of the lights using the Hue app.

LED computer monitor is really "hush" on eyes. I bought them as monitor backlight and control via home automation. Installation is easy and work great.

Tried them once but returned...tried again but with the Hue sync box...just got better!!! Great for Movie night as all the lights sync perfectly with the display on the TV.

These look great mounted to the back of my 65" curved tv. Love the accurate colors and works great with my existing Hue setup

I really only bought this for the sake of having a nice statement piece to go with my TV. If you have the money for this and the Sync box (which I also bought) its a cool add on but by no means is it overly necessary.

Received this starter kit as a gift and use the lights every day. Can easily change colors through app on my phone. Will be adding more lights to the set.

They really add ambiance to the room. I hope they update the app and make it easier to navigate and set up. App definitely needs improvements.
