These are awesome lights. I have a bunch of Hue lights but these are great and offer a ton of variety with what you can do with these.

I have mine stuck to the back of my TV and they work and look great. I find the back lighting really helps when watching movies in the dark.

These lights are really cool. They light up our family's music room giving a unique vibe. Love the different color options.

This has worked well so far. setup for some reason seemed like it could have been a little better and sometimes it seems like my lights turn on randomly. but otherwise a lot of fun.

When I hear of starter kit, I think it includes everything you need to get started. This provides your the two lamps and power cords and hub. Not the sync box that is needed to use it for real with games, movies, streaming on a TV, where it seems best suited for. That will cost an extra $200 unless you are fine with plugging your computer into your tv or streaming limited content from your phone. Streaming from phone causes delays in lights. Overall, it's okay, but you really need that sync box to make it actually work well.

These lights are awesome forbacklighting a computer monitor for a more immersive gaming experience, allowing you to feel more in it!

Without the HDMI sync box these don’t work that well. Being able to sync everything up from my tv or with music was the real kicker! Would recommend only with the HDMI box

The colors of the light reflect the PC and not the TV unless you have the SYNC box which is not included in this starter pack. You would need to connect your TV to the PC/desktop.

I love having these for all my games, adds another level of immersion! Or when I'm getting ready for work I rave with the music/sound!

These are cool, lots of settings. I put on the back of my computer monitor for the lighting effects. Works great

Have this set up in the media room and works great. Docking a star because when power comes back during an outage, it goes back to the default light setting.

Great addition to the hue lineup. Mounted to the rear of our TV for ambient backlighting. Easy installation and pairing to Hue Hub.

My teen wanted this for his bday. They are neat, and he loves them. Annoying he needs the laptop to coordinate them with Xbox though. Wish they synced up better that way.

Provide nice usage than work when reading or watching movies. Hue integrated into Harmony and Alexa. Mounted behind the TV.

Pretty neat setup if you have a fixed rig. My computer dsk is in a dark corner of the house and this adds some much needed light and life to that area.

For the price it will transform your tv or desk set up . And if you get sync box game over . If your on fence go for it .

These lights add a bit of fun and great ambience to the cinema experience. Got a set for main room and bedroom. Can be used as mood lighting when the tv isn’t on as well.
