I like this switch even though I don't know how it works without batteries. I guess that's why it's so expensive, because it's from the future. I like controlling the lights with an app but nothing can replace just hittin' a switch.

He one of these for a while and during a recent disruption in my internet service (cut fiber optic cable) I found that the buttons still controlled the Hue lights in my office. Bought a second one for lights in the rest of my home in case of another situation.

Wow, no batteries required! Sometimes you want to just push a button especially if your significant other is sleeping and don't want to use alexa voice. Great for bedside and who does not like the simplicity of pushing a button. You can program the other buttons to your liking. A must have for your Hue setup.

Really great item to have and would definitely recommend it

The Hue Tap is an excellent switch alternative for controlling a set of scenes in a room where you have the lights located. It works without batteries and syncs with your bridge. Takes a little time to sync, and make sure its in range with your wifi network connected with a Hue bridge. At times it will take a couple of clicks to activate or turn off a scene.

Works great easy set up. I will be using more of these.

This switch is self powered. It does not require batteries. The switch generates its own power when buttons are pushed. The switch can control 3 bulbs individually and shut all bulbs off at once or just shut off bulbs that are on. It is a great addition to the hue system and can be mounted anywhere.

These save energy, are super versatile and easy to administer.

I use this to control bedroom lights. It makes it so easy to turn everything off before going to sleep by just hitting the big button. Also, I have one of the smaller buttons to turn bedroom lights on to 25 % brightness. Love it since I dont have to fumble with cellphone.

I love all of the Hue lights and accessories. I have multiple Hue Tap switches and programed them all differently. They have great flexibility. I love being able to control multiple lights and multiple scenes with one switch.

There are times when I cannot reach my phone to turn on my hue lights so this a great product. It just simply sticks on to the wall & it stays there pretty good, doesn't budge. Plus you can put three different scenery of your choice. Good tool to have

I highly recommend looking at the Hue Labs for the toggle app to really make this switch work as you'd expect. The only knock I have is when you push down the entire switch as a button, it clicks and sounds cheap.

The tap is almost an essential. I have two now, one for the entryway and one for the bedroom. It makes it nice so that you can have guests family and everyone turn the lights on and off if your not home. The mobility of it can be a blessing and a curse depending on if the 2 year old grabs it and decides to hide it

Bought this as most of my lights are Hue. Its tough sometimes if you do no have your phone etc. handy. Having this in a central place makes it easy to have 4 of my setting a touch away. The no battery etc is very cool. We'll see how it holds up

Since discovering HUE lights I have placed them all over my home. This remote is the perfect addition to any room that you are trying to run multiple lights. Its so much faster than opening the ap to control your lighting. It only has 4 settings but its great for your 4 favorite scenes.
