I don't find this particular item useful (especially for the price) while it does what it should do I find myself reasing for my phone (or using alexa) instead of using this swtich.

Works seamlessly with my Philips Hue bulbs. It does exactly what it's supposed to, which is to switch between a total of four lighting scenes (or turn the lights off) and best of all, it has an ingenious design that doesn't require batteries. I'm very happy with this product.

I have this set up in our in TV room. It great to have 3 light setting preset the mood and a 4th full brightness on/off. Would recommend to anyone invested into hue lights.

I would have expected a better light switch for the Hue light system. There clicker button switch doesn't always work on first try. It was also hard to set up. Wish it had more buttons for more scenes. Don't get me wrong, it does work, just not well. Design could be better. Less bulky and flatter. Phillips need to work on this and make it better. I love the Hue light system, but there app and switch could be so much better.

With Hue you need to leave the lamp or wall switch on, and only use the app or voice assistant. This allows you to have a switch, good for guests or other people who aren’t logged in to your Hue account or can’t talk to Alexa without giggling.

I already had one of their dimmer switches and was going to get a second, but I saw this instead. Now, at the touch/click of a button, I can set my Play Bar lights to 3 different settings and turn them off as I go to bed.

Works fairly well, sometimes a bit of a delay between button person and light fixtures coming on, but I love that it's powered by just touch.

I bought the Dimmer Switch after, way better product than this Hue Tap Switch. But still, everyone in my household thought the Tap Switch was for multiple rooms or something crazy awesome.. and it’s just not it or maybe just not perfected yet? Otherwise, mind blowingly awesome that it does not require batteries or to be plugged in or charged ever! My whole household gets enjoyment just from that; probably why it hasn’t been returned. Lol!

This thing is magic! Works perfectly every time. After being out of town for 2 weeks I had to push the buttons around 5 times to "wake it up" but that has been the only hiccup.

The first weird thing about this device is that you have to give each button a hard push until the whole thing clicks, so you’re pressing through two levels of pressure rather than giving it a “tap” as its name suggests. It’s also limited in its function in that it can only control scenes in one room. This is a big oversight - it should have the option to be used to set scenes in your entire house, so you could install one in the entrance and have everything turn on with one push.

Got this to control our kitchen of 10 Hue bulbs and it is good at what it does, however the buttons do require some force to push which loses a star for me.

Nice that it's removable, but it does the job for me on the wall. I use it with two lamps and the ambient lighting behind my TV. Makes control super convenient.

If you want a way other than the Hue app to control your lights, this is an easy way to do that. I use Alexa, but my wife doesn't like doing that so I got this and brought peace back to my home : )

I found it so odd this device doesn’t use batteries. It relies on kinetic energy. The buttons are loud when you press them but who cares. It works consistently and My wife and I dig it.

We are on our 3rd one. Goal is to have one in every room. Be sure to visit hue labs on you smart device to make this tap switch do what it needs to. Tons of useful features make this perfect for any set up.

While this device can turn on up to three lights / devices or any mix of the three it can not turn them off selectivly, to turn one off, you must turn them all off.

This is an interesting gadget. Did I need it. No. Do I use it. Not much. Then why buy it? It is just cool and the technology is cool.

It works as described. I haven’t mounted it to the wall but it can be. It changes the colors of my Hue bulbs in my basement fur different scenes.

The buttons would not always work after many resets, I ended up returning this item.

Dim Mabel light switches are much nicer and easier to use. difficult to determine which button is full or 50 percent.
