Moved to a new apartment with super dated bulbs. Went on a little spree to redo the lights since I had a philips setup already. They worked great and helped to brighten up the apartment really nice. Coupled with the motion detectors these have been amazing

This is a very expensive light bulb for a recessed can fixture. For a smart home you will be able to control the light/fixture with voice commands. This bulb only gives you white light intensities. Colored bulbs expand your range of moods and ambiance.

I bought this light to use with my Alexa. I bought the HUE beginner kit that came with a connections hub. I downloaded the HUE app and easily set up the lights. I then enabled the HUE skill on Alexa, and now, all I do is tell Alexa to turn my lights on and off!! It's great!!

I have 32 hue lights throughout my house now and this was my first purchase of the BR30 for the recessed lighting in my kitchen. I love that I can change the color to a warmer temperature at night and the cooler blue during the day! Need another hue dimmer for my kitchen now :)

purchased on sale. non color br30 .set to google home system for turn on or off and dimmed by voice .Somehow can not asked for turned to daylight white. access only thru apps for white light not by voice. So far very impressed . Hoped Philips drops price down.

I use this for my outside flood lights, turned the the color to bright white, lights up the whole yard. This bulb is not a outdoor light so my fixture that I bought has the shields to protect the light bulb from the environment. I have had no problems.

You cant go wrong with Phillips. Never a problem with remote access, or manual switching.Bulbs dim and lighten the room and so far they seem to last a really long time. Little expensive for a light bulb, but its more than that; its a mood setter.

Bought this to use for our driveway. I love the auto on/off feature of HuE.

Finally! Philips Hue introduced the BR30 Hue White Ambiance LED! I ordered these as soon as I saw them on bestbuy, was hoping for a cheaper price-point but I'm OK with thirty bucks (I'm sure they will get cheaper over time but I'm an early adopter).

The best. We started with the three pack, thinking we just wanted them in the entrances. We have now added them to 6 rooms. What a fantastic idea. I love the fact that you can lighten / darken a room with the slide of your finger on a scale on your phone.

I love the hue smart lights in my house. I have 5 standard bulbs and now I have 5 flood light bulbs. They are little expensive and you can add the regular bulbs into the flood light area however I didn't like seeing a small bulb in place where the blood light should be. Only downside is I wish these were cheaper. other than that I like having everything set to turn on at random time like when I come home or turn off when I leave. Great buy

Super easy to install and fit well in my recessed lighting. A bit expensive but worth it.

I bought 4 of theses from my living room and it has been great. Putting in a dimmer switch would have cost me a couple of hundred and these bulb do so much more. Being able to turn off each one individually is awesome. The range of colors is pretty impressive but doesn't go outside of a standard bulb range(light blue to bright orange). The software from Phillips is the only down side. It does the job but lacks any advance features.

What I can say about light bulbs. I replaced my LED BR30's in a hallway leading in to my house from the garage and then activated geofencing to turn them on when we come home after dark. Work great and was easy to set up.

I bought these to go into a track system in my condo. I love being able to control each track individually. And the varied ambiance is great. I have the enegize setting on now to help ward off the after work sleepies.

Hue continues to be the easiest to set up and use. I put these two in my kitchen. I run them at a relatively high color temperature while I'm cooking, cleaning, etc. and then turn it down to a warmer tone while we're dining.

I've setup many Hue bulbs in my house and these do not let down. I've installed them in my man cave to dim when I turn on a movie and back on when the movie is over. Awesome to have a legit movie theater experience.

Love them. Tons of light on high yet can be diminished to warm ambiance. Perfect in our kitchen with breakfast bar. Have four of them connected to Echo for tons of flexibility in lighting . No glare and easy to program! Highly recommend
