We love this color Hue light. Its the only one we have but we do four regular Hue white bulbs that we can control by voice with Google Home. Don't forget the bridge. I've also got a Samsung Smart Things Hub connected.

These save on my electric bill and make it easy for me to shut off the lights while rushing out the door. Many times I'm turning them off from the app in my driveway. Love all the color options too!

These work great and have a nice range of color. But they are still very pricey.

Using this for our overhead front porch light. We have it set to turn on and off at sunset/sunrise with the Hue app and love changing the color based on holidays, weather events and mood. The whole family loves it.

Love these lights, put them in my recessed lights in great room and paired with Alexa, now I can change color, brightness, on and off by voice command. They add ambiance and warmth. Great purchase.

This kit is a great entry point into home automation. Since buying it, I've added several additional Hue bulbs and I've had no problems pairing everything with the hub. The Hue app isn't exactly the most intuitive if you're new to it. But once you learn it, it will do everything most people needed it to do. Even better though, is the seamless integration between Phillips Hue and Apple HomeKit, which is what I use 99% of the time to control my Hue bulbs and other components in my automation system. I highly recommend this particular kit because of its color capability. The non-color starter kits are tempting because of the cheaper price. But without the ability to change colors, you're really missing a big part of the Hue experience.

These lights are pretty awesome. They are definitely not something that I *need* with the color part but it makes it fun. I only have one of the color lights so far but will probably add more in the future.

Bulb works great. Can't program different "mood" settings with different lights. We have 8 of them configured in different colors and is activated when we say "party mode"

I have a bunch of Hue Lights in my house and this is like the rest. Perfect. I have this in my porch and have it set to come on at sunset and off at sunrise. Plus change colors based on the season!

I know these lights are not cheap but it is great to be able to change color and they put out quite a bit of lumens and so the brightness is there. For entertaining purposes, this cannot be beat.

We have 13 of these in our eves and on the porch lighting to set the mood for the holidays. No more ladders, hanging lights, just whip out the app and change the theme and decorating is done!

The 3rd generation Hue bulbs (which is all most stores stock now) have an improved color range, rendering greens much better than the 1st gen bulbs. Their integration with Amazon’s Alexa is smooth.

I initially bought it because I was told it came in a pack of two; it was a disappointment to find out it was only one but I should have looked at the box so I take the blame on that. The first reason why I took of 1 star was because it didn’t get bright enough for my taste and the second reason why I took off 1 more was because it didn’t fit my main lights for my room with the shade on and I had to take it off which I had to take it back to get a regular Hue colored bulb.

These Phillips hue lights are a must buy. Kids love the lights especially when paired with my echo dot. Set any mood, any tone. Makes me wanna hang out at home all day. No problems so far
