I have been using these for a couple of years outdoors and decided to add 2 more for halloween this year. All the neighbors love it and they stand up well to extreme cold 0 degree and negatives plus high heat even though the specs say they are for indoor use.

This light works great and pairs seamlessly. I have other smart devices that don’t work nearly as well. Keep it up Hue!

These look greater and better than the oblong bulbs. The price is excessive and makes a 5 star product a 3.5 round up to a 4.

These simply aren’t as bright as you’d think they’d be, but if you have recessed light there’s no other choice. Consider the white ambient at 2 for the price of 1.

Looks like your normal lightbulb but it does so much more. Any color you want anytime for any mood or occasion. I like the design. I like that the dome is plastic so it’s more durable versus previous models. Will keep adding more to the set up.

So many colors! Its really amazing how smart these bulbs are! Fun stuff! Easy to operate right from your smartphone!

These Hue Color Ambiance BR30 Wi-Fi Smart LED Floodlight Bulbs are simply an awesome addition to the Man Cave. What ambiance and an added benefit is the reduced heat generation. No more need for running a cooling fan while the lights are on.

I use the Hue system all over the house and have the lightstrips and A19's in most rooms. The BR30 was needed for some track lighting, and work just as well as the other Hue lights. The Hue ecosystem is amazing and you won't regret upgrading your house!

The casing and bulb head feel cheaper/more flimsy than the a19 bulbs but it still puts out good color and light.

I was having some issues with these bulbs. I realized it was the dimmer switch causing the issues, even though the dimmer was all the way turned up. Once I switched up my switches, the lights work great. Great product!

I bought 22 of these bulbs for a kitchen and great room. There are preset scenes that can be accessed from the Philips app. The scenes can be tweeked to personal preference. My favorite is sunset. Looks great in the evening.

got in for 25$ each and they work great and love being able to change the color for the mood.

The new generation of these bulbs really have excellent colors that are richer than previous models. However, the untrained eye wouldn't notice unless they knew about the upgrades feature, so it won't off balance existing lights.

I just love the Philips Hue line they are just too pricey

Unfortunately Philips does not offer their starter kit with the BR30s so had to purchase bridge and bulbs separately. Philips should offer starter kits with both bulb sizes but still very happy with the product!

This light bulb size fits perfectly in my kitchen overhead fixture. I was a little worried it would be too big but it looks great and the reflection on the window is beautiful. Glad I picked it up on sale.

I use these in my tv room. It's nice to have Siri set the scene to "Watching" and turn the bulbs down low and make them light blue for the best watching experience.
