Gives a pretty good shave for an electric razor and so far has remained sharp.

It does not include a travel pouch as Best Buy describes in the Overview. I brought that to their attention but no change to the description. After a 20 minute chat with Stella and being put on hold four times i just kept getting told they can send me a new one, I gave up. Best Buy customer service is less than stellar. As far as the shaver goes I have used Norelco for years. Not disappointed.

Good basic shaver,norelco quality does the job,don't need fancy fluids or baths.

It cuts whiskers and it is pretty quite to operate.

I've used Norelco's since 1994 and I have been shaving my face and head daily for over a decade. I've used the Speed XL/HQ9 shaving heads, ever since they were introduced. I wanted to try the wet shaving feature, but I'm not a big fan of the latest body style. This older style with the built in trimmer suits me best. However, the included HQ8 shaving heads are terrible/slow compared to the HQ9 shaving heads. I tried the wet shaving and and wasn't impressed. It seemed that I took longer and I seemed to be going over the sames area repeatedly. A colleague of mine told me that he thought the HQ8 and HQ9 were interchangeable. I swapped in my two year old HQ9 shaving heads and gave the wet shave another try. WOW, what a difference! What was taking 10 minutes to wet shave only took about five minutes and with less much less effort. I'm not sure why Norelco is not marketing HQ9 shavers anymore. Maybe it's to differentiate between the highest tier shavers and the HQ8. If it is, it's a terrible decision. My suggestion, if you buy this product, please replace the HQ8 shaving heads with a set of HQ9 shaving heads. You'll then get the best of both worlds, the ability to wet shave with the old style built-in trimmer body and with the HQ9 shaving heads get a faster, closer shave.
