I like this much better than my previous Phillips electric e-Series toothbrush. The power button is much smoother whereas the previous model it took a bit of effort to work that power button. I think it also does more Strokes Per minute than the other one So probably removes plaque better. It's also comfortable, in that I don't have to Open my mouth so wide as has happened with Other models of electric toothbrushes.

This unit performs as well as much more elaborate sonicare units. It lacks unnecessary features such as the ability to communicate with my smart phone, which is does not ship with a traveling case which lacks room for a charger, and excludes a glass charger receptacle that I broke with accidentally within 30 days of purchase with my older unit, It also is 1/4 the cost of the more elaborate unit. It’s only fault is it takes longer to charge than the older unit. I appreciate the warning it provides when you’re playing too much pressure on your teeth. This feature was not included on my old unit. Not long after I purchased it I saw an article in the New York Times that reviewed this unit and gave it very favorable reviews. Sonicare units have been providing me with excellent dental care as evidenced by the check ups with my dentist. You won’t go wrong with this unit.

Overall a good electronic toothbrush however there were a few minor disappointments. There is no cube for plugging the USB cord into (but we have several) and it's 'intensity' is not as strong as the other ones we had that this replaced.

Cleans well it just has a few inconvenient features compared to an older model like when the battery is low it's buzzing everytime it's turned off manually so I have to wait for it otherwise it would splash everywhere, and when you first start it, it has a gradual intensity program that you can turn off but you would have to read the manual for it to know about it so I just thought it was a bad, weak toothbrush.

I switched from a rotadent orbital brush to Sonicare. My dentist noted the improved condition of my gums and my teeth feel just as clean as when I used the rotadent.

This does a good job cleaning. The battery holds its charge for an entire week. The unit has a timer that tells when each quadrant is brushed for 30 seconds. The brush shuts off after the fourth quadrant. Wish it would stay on but it's not much to push the power button if I need more time. I like this brush better than my old Sonicare brush.

Phillips Sonicare has the market on electric toothbrushes. They know how to clean, work well and really helps my gums, and back hard to reach teeth. Not bulky, and easy to find replacement heads.
