The replacement reminder tracks how often and how hard you brush, then reminds you to replace your brush head once it's time for a new one.
Q: does it come with an AC adapter?
A: It does not come with an adapter, which is very inconvenient. Phillips indicates it is for "sustainability" reasons and they will sell you one for half again as much as the price of the toothbrush. Not good service in my opinion. This product should come ready to go and not needing a separate purchase to use the charger. Disappointing!
Q: Which brush heads are compatible with this model?
A: Hello! You can use Philips Sonicare snap-on or click-on brush heads, with the exception from Philips One by Sonicare brush heads. Brush heads like the C1, C2, C3, G2, G3, W2, A3, DiamoondClean, InterCare, Sensitive, SimplyClean are all compatible with the Philips Sonicare 4100 Power Toothbrush.
Q: Will charger from model HX6250-09 work with a model HX3681-24?
A: I use my older plug in base because i dont have a usb in the bathroom. Works fine.
Q: How many brush strokes a minute does it have? 62000 or 31000?
A: 1 brush STROKE (an up and down motion) = 2 brush MOVEMENTS (one up, one down) And that means … 31,000 brush-STROKES-per-minute = 62,000 brush-MOVEMENTS-per-minute. They describe the same rate of speed (frequency). So, there’s nothing new and improved here. Both brushing action descriptions are equivalents.
Q: Can I use HX6100 charger with sonicare 4100 brush
A: Hi there, Yes you may use this to the Philips Sonicare 4100 Series Sonic electric toothbrush Model number: HX3681/23. Make sure to charge only with Philips WAA1001, WAA2001, UL or equivalent safety approved adapters with input ratings (100 - 240V~; 50/60Hz; 3.5W) and output ratings (5Vdc; 2.5W).
A: Hi there. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'd like to assist you further regarding this matter. Please leave us a private message on Facebook or call us at 1-800-682-7664. We are open from Monday - Sunday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST. Talk to you soon!
Q: What size replacement brushes work with this model? Will C1 work?
A: Actually, the former answer "it uses a C3 head" is belied by the company provided photo showing a C2 head. What the little "radar" symbol means, sort of like my computers WiFi presence symbol, is not stated. Looking further, that seems to be the Brush Sync chip symbol, to activate the LED light that it's time to change the brush head. Your handle may not have that capacity, but all brush heads C1, C2, and C3 will work in the handle
Customers are enthusiastic about the 4100 Power Toothbrush's overall performance, long battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the built-in timer and pressure sensor features.
