    This was my first interdental cleaner. Although I have nothing to actually compare it to, it exceeded my "expectations" out of the box. Aesthetically, it's well designed and compact. It didn't replace flossing but significantly helped to remove food particles between my teeth and made my mouth feel fresh and clean. I practically couldn't wait to brush my teeth so I could use it. However, after about A WEEK - it suddenly STOPPED WORKING. I see from other reviews that it isn't the first time this has happened. Although it was great while it lasted, I'm hesitant to buy it again because the quality of Philips Sonicare is not what as it used to be.

    Despite the fact that it was billed as an "upgraded version", and it did have some features not on the original, a major shortcoming was the pick/probe was not as rigid, and the air "puffs" not as strong. I hope it lasts at least as long --3 yrs.
