I've never owned a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush and actually wondered how much better could a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush clean my teeth than just a good old fashioned manual toothbrush, or a battery operated spin toothbrush. I always thought they were gimmicks and a waste of money. That was until I purchased the Phillips Sonicare 4100. Man! Does this toothbrush really clean my teeth! For over 20 years my buddy recommended that I purchase an electric toothbrush. He bragged about how much cleaner his teeth felt after using one. But I thought he was just exaggerating. But I finally gave in and purchased one. I nearly bought the high-end Phillips Sonicare toothbrush for nearly $300. But I decided to go with the more affordable 4100 rechargeable model instead because I didn't want to get buyer's remorse and be ridiculed for spending so much money on a toothbrush. After using the toothbrush for the first time, I was amazed at how clean my teeth were! It was as though I had gotten my teeth professionally cleaned by a dentist or oral hygienist. Once you power on the toothbrush, it gives you 30-second reminders to switch the area of your teeth that you're cleaning...upper, lower, front and back. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the model 4100 and, more than likely, I'll be purchasing these same toothbrushes for the rest of my family.

Replacement for older generation Sonicare. This is much lighter and cleans perceptibly better.

I like the color and how long it last between charges. (I don't want to leave it plug in because of the cats) I do feel it leaves my teeth and tongue clean, and it doesn't hurt my gums like other electric toothbrushes. The turn on/off button is not hard like Oral-B, so I like that too.

One button control is simple and perfect for seniors and kids. Too many button controls can confuse seniors and kids. It cleans great. Two minutes Quad timer Is really good. Good value for money.

Bought for my son as a Christmas present. He struggles to brush his teeth but promised he would if he had a toothbrush like mine. So far he's kept his promise - the battery life is great, and it's easy to travel with. You can literally see the improvement it has made and last check-up he didn't have any cavities, so I'm happy too!

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, she loves it. Says it really cleans her teeth good and gets in her braces good also, likes the way you can change out the brushes.

Per my dentist, it has improved my gum lines. I love the timer as for how long are brushing.

Works great, keeps charge for long period. Brush replacements seem a bit pricey though.

Really easy to use. Holds the charge for a really long time. It has funny setting that every 30 seconds or so and reminds you to change the side of your mouth that you’re brushing. And it turns itself off after about two minutes of brushing. The only problem might be that the brush heads will require changing in about three weeks or so and they are as expensive as the brush itself

I like the Sonicare brand and this brush was a much better value than some of the others.

This is the 3rd sonic care I’ve owned and I have bought many as gifts. I love the battery life and the two minute timer. This should not be used like a normal toothbrush so look for a YouTube video or read the manual. It definitely gives you the just left the dentist feel. I got this model because I had a higher model last time so I already have the travel case and home charger attachment that holds two brush heads.
