With something like this, you just expect it to work and not require you to think about it so you can spend your life thinking about other things. This does that. It works well and I never really thought about it until I compared to one of our older sonicare models and this certainly feels stronger than that. I also like that this doesn't have a bunch of extra modes and nonsense--it's simple and effective.

I liked my Oral B but after 2+ years the rechargeable battery lost capacity as rechargeables will ultimately do. Based on reviews I decided to try the Sonicare and am extremely happy. It cleans better than the Oral and everytime I brush feels like I just left the dentist after a cleaning. The battery is still new and I recently went more than 3 weeks without recharging and it still had not run down. I recommend this heartily, you can find a very great buy on one or two of these Sonicare without spending a lot of money for unnecessary items and things you won’t use. This was cheaper than the Oral B and is a much better brush.

My first electric tooth brush and it has been amazing. My teeth seems noticeably cleaner and I don't have to put in as much effort brushing/keeping track of time as I did with a manual toothbrush. The battery charge lasts a little over two weeks, it comes with a charging base, and the brush heads themselves looks like they last a while. I highly recommend this as a no frills electric tooth brush if you are looking for one.

Basic Phillips electric toothbrush. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. With how much some of these toothbrushes go for, it’s nice to just get a good one without bells and whistles.

We got the Phillips 4100 for $29.99. It runs $49.99. Great deal. We bought this for my wife. I have had a 4100 for several years and love it.

It does the job. I have had several different models, some more expensive than this, and this seemingly does just as well as the more expensive models.

I have this brand in a different model and it vibrates quite strong. This toothbrush handle is very basic, no other options given and the vibration isn’t as strong. However, i like it. Hust perfect for what im looking for and price is extremely affordable!

If this doesn't break off the plaque and whatever else is on your teeth. It'll vibrate your teeth out with i t lol. Its a very effective toothbrush

This is the first rechargeable electric toothbrush I bought. For the price range of the 4100 series (Less than $50), this electric toothbrush is probably the best of value your money can buy without breaking your wallet. It works as it should. The build quality from Philips is solid. The brush intensity is high (by my standard), but other model actually have higher brush intensity (5100, 6100, 9300 series). Although it only have one mode of cleaning, I do not felt like it is lacking the need for other cleaning mode that higher model offers. It just a simple brush you turn on, it brush, pause every 30 second to signify you to change the area of cleaning, than stop after it complete it cycle at 2 minutes. I do cycle through the brush twice at night, so a total of 4 minutes brush for me. The item is still pretty new to me consider I bought it during Thanksgiving for a very great deal. I will try to follow up next year if I can. It seems like this electric toothbrush from Philips will least about 2+ years depends on how you take care of it. Philips offer a two years warranty for its products, so you do not have to worry in this part. All in all, for the price and value of this toothbrush, I would rate it as a great buy for improving your dental health. Yes, the replacement head come at a cost, but you can shop around for great replacement package that come with 4-5 brush heads and use it for the whole year! Hey, I am sure you spend more on other non-essential stuff that will not least for 2 years, or will consume itself after use, so why not rewards yourself with this entry level electric toothbrush? If you still skeptical about buying this product or have never try using an electric toothbrush before, then go buy the one time non-rechargeable electric toothbrush that come with AA-battery and try it for a months or two (if the battery least). You will see and feel the cleanest different compare to regular non-electric toothbrush. After you happy with the result, then move on to this rechargeable version!
