I bought this toothbrush. It lasted exactly six weeks. Best buys won’t allow a return as it is out of their 30 day return policy. I contacted Phillips Sonicare, (several times) and they refused to refund or exchange. Worst company to deal with. I would actively discourage anyone from buying Phillips Sonicare products. I ended up buying ann Oral-B toothbrush. It is a far superior product and it works perfectly. My recommendation, purchase Oral-B over Phillips Sonicare.

I like it a lot only down side was the light flashing for the brush head to remind to change the tooth brush head on second day.

I currently use a Philips Diamond Clean Sonicare toothbrush at home and wanted a second Sonicare to use just for travel. The 6100 is great it for this purpose. One charge has always lasted me through multi-day trips and should handle multi-week trips as well. There are a lot of toothbrushes out there in the market that vary in performance and cost etc. Here are the major reasons I like the 6100. With tens of thousands of brush strokes per minute the cleaning is quite thorough. The small brush head size cleans very well and easily reaches all areas of the mouth and uses a pressure sensor to keep you from damaging your gums. I really like the four brushing periods on the toothbrush which tells you when to switch to a new area for brushing and automatically turns off when the timed brushing experience is over. I am looking forward to trying some of the other brush heads that are available. Nice ergonomics, styling and build quality make for a very nice user experience.

It works great and the only complaint I could think of is that I would like the brush head to be a little larger.

I was using this from Jan 2023 until almost the end of March 2023 it began rattling louder than normal, and a week later, the toothbrush tip no longer sat properly to the connector. Quite disappointing/frustrating seeing how expensive this toothbrush is.

The cheaper Sonicare models don't have the same vibration tech, worth paying a little more to have truly clean teeth!

This is my 4th Philips Sonicare, which in average seem to last about 3 years. Other brands lasted much longer, but I much prefer Sonicare's system. While older toothbrushes were made in either Holland or USA, this is made in China, although replacement brush heads are made in the US. Like in other Philips personal care products, the battery is not replaceable, so be prepared to throw away the handle when the battery dies, and they make it very difficult to remove the internal battery in order to dispose of it correctly. (The instructions even illustrate how to crack it open correctly with a hammer without breaking the Li-Ion battery). My previous toothbrush handle is the Series 2, that used for about a year (and it's still working) but I much prefer this model. Like most other Sonicare handles, it uses an induction charger and takes about 24 hours to charge completely. With new batteries, it should last about two weeks before it needs to be charged again. The charger appears to be the same as in all my previous models, with a 110V plug but takes 110/220v (works abroad). This model has a very useful feature that detects when one puts too much pressure while brushing and alerts by changing the vibration pattern. I tend to put too much pressure sometimes, and this might've been a contributing factor for the relatively low lifetime of the previous Sonicare handles that broke after about three years. I find it really useful. Another new feature, is that by using 'BrushSync compatible' toothbrush heads, it detects the type of toothbrush and programmed lifetime, changing its brushing pattern and indicating when to replace it (about three months). These newer brush heads have an embedded RF chip to sync with the handle. Note that it still works just fine with older brush heads, just without the replacement indicator. It works normally without any complains. That was a concern because I still had fresh replacement packs without the RF chip. The toothbrush handle has two buttons: The On/Off, which also doubles to control the vibration intensity, and a brushing mode button. The intensity is shown with three white bars, and there are three modes: Clean, which is what one would use every day, that lasts two minutes, announcing every 30 seconds to switch sections to brush (Philips calls this 'QuadPacer'). The White mode lasts 2.5 minutes and ads a pulsating mode after the first 2 minutes. The last is a gum care mode that lasts 3 minutes and it has a different vibration mode. This model also comes with a plastic traveling case that holds the handle and up to two brush heads, but not the charger. Also note that while the brush heads are completely washable, the handle can be rinsed but doesn't seem to be completely waterproof. Never had any issues getting them clean though. Aside from difficulties in recycling it and waste of not being able to replace the battery, it's a great and effortless brushing system and the introduction of the pressure sensor makes it a worthwhile upgrade.

The product has been in the market for a while. It is much better when compared to other brands. I wish the replacement heads were not as expensive though.

Good brush. I would have preferred it came with the Clean brush head instead of the Whitening head. Better yet, for the price, it should have come with both brush heads.

A definit upgrade from my older Philips brush

Pros: - Multiple Speeds and intensity settings - Fairly quite compared to other brushes I’ve owned - Easy to hold - Firm bristles - Wireless recharging station Cons: - Vibration can be too much for some My old electric toothbrush was getting a bit old and needed replacing. The rechargeable battery was having a difficult time holding a charge. This new Philips so far is a great replacement. At first I was worried about the head size and the stiffness of the bristles. The head is smaller than my old brush; about half the size. It is also about half the size of a standard manual toothbrush. The number of features on the toothbrush are quite a bit. It has the standard clean mode, teeth whitening mode, and gum care mode. It also has three speeds for each mode. I did try all three modes and didn’t quite understand the need for all of them. The cleaning mode did a great job of cleaning my teeth. The tooth whitening mode seemed to do the same thing but just on a slower setting. And the gum mode. I just didn’t understand why I would want to put a head covered with stiff bristles on my gums regardless of the vibration speed. And the whitening mode seems to be a slower vibration than the clean mode. Why wouldn’t the clean mode whiten my teeth? Personally, I think it is a gimmick to give the brush more settings than the step down brush. The toothbrush was easy to control. It fit well in my hand. The buttons are easy to press while the brush is in operation. The only thing I don’t like about this brush is that the high speed can overwhelm someone with sensitive teeth. I originally purchased this for my wife. However, the vibrations proved too much for her. Which is how the toothbrush became my toothbrush. Over all, this seems to be a quality brush. My teeth feel great after using it. It is definitely an upgrade from my old Philips electric brush.

This brushes way to hard and it couldn't reach places where I had food stuck. Where as my $9 tooth brush worked. All 3 settings feel the same. There was also a gap between the toothbrush head and the base I am not sure if there a cover missing to fill the gap. I used the Oral B brush before and I like how that feels like it's actually brushing your teeth and not damaging it.
