First off, the first unit would not allow the bottom of the touch screen to respond. I had to return the unit for replacement. Also, the unit will only access about 1300 of the 2100 songs on my usb drive which is, given the capacity of modern thumb drives, exceedingly limiting. I would note that this limitation is not mentioned in Best Buy's listing of the product. It's only in the fine print of the fuil-sized owner's manual.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the sales person (and bestbuy.com) telling me it fit my car and had free installation, come the install appointment I had to pay another $75 for them to cut my dashboard to make it fit. (Ford Expedition, the stock stereo was also double DIN). The software for linking your phone display doesn't work well and drains your phone battery very quickly, even when you're not connected to the stereo. It forces you to use waze for navigation and has trouble doing navigation and audio at the same time It works okay as a Bluetooth speaker, but at that point since there's only play/pause, next and back buttons, physical buttons would work better than a poorly responsive touch screen. This is the first time in my history of 7 cars that I've felt like an aftermarket stereo was a downgrade.

We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the DMH-241EX.
Some vehicles require special modifications for an aftermarket stereo.
You might consider going with the DMH-1770NEX. It offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. When you plug in the phone, the maps and music applications will appear on the screen seamlessly.

Most apps don’t work the way you would want while driving. Your phone is required to make most things work properly and they don’t give any direction to make it work smoothly
