The stereo would cut in and out when driving. Pioneer has went downhill over the years and have really skimped on protecting wires and terminals.

Solid, inexpensive unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Pioneer unit to replace the stock radio in my 2011 Mazda 6. Wiring was easy and straightforward. I liked that the front USB port charges and connects my phone. The WebLink app used to initiate mirroring isn’t super smooth, but having CarPlay wasn’t at the top of my priority list. The Bluetooth works great, which was at the top of my list. The touchscreen is responsive, but you do have to add a little pressure. The reason it only gets 4 stars is the glare on the screen itself. At night, the screen is great. If there is any kind of direct sunlight, the screen gets really washed out. Then if you’re wearing sunglasses, it’s nearly impossible to see the screen. Pretty annoying, but overall a solid, inexpensive unit.
I would recommend this to a friend NOT THE PIONEER I KNEW

Please note that a $300 car stereo purchase from Best Buy got me a free installation. Of course, i had to buy all needed adapters and cables, but the BB staff did a great job putting the stereo in to my car.

I can still use my old school CD's, and also bluetooth music from my phone. I can also use it to safely receive phone calls without even touching the phone.
