The radio Pioneer is very good. Its very easy to use and I loved have Apple car play.

Bought it the first time for a different car loved it so much i went and bought another. Only problem is u have to hook up the mic to ur car visor that involves running the communication line across the top of ur car. With that being said if u dont mind the minor damage of having it installed or research ways to better avoid this issue. Definitely meant for older cars. Stereo is great!

This car stereo is good. I got it on sale for Christmas and it was easy to install as.long as you got all the accessories with it. Note that this car stereo needs to be wired with the green wire that connects to the emergency brake. You can bypass this by buying an emergency brake bypass cable that you can buy on amazon or ebay. If you don't connect the green cable, you won't get the full the android auto/carplay experience.

I needed an updated for my 2009 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that included Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. After considering this and a Kenwood, I ended up going with the Pioneer because of the DVD player. Bottom line is the DVD is pointless because a passenger cannot watch it while you’re driving! Anyway, good sound from my stock speakers and it does what I need it to do. Plus, the Geek Squad installers did an excellent job!

I bought this Pioneer receiver to upgrade the small Ford Sync unit that came with my truck. The biggest disappointment is that it doesn't tune in local FM stations as well as the stock radio. When it does tune in the sound is good. The buttons on the side for volume, screen display, etc. are tiny. For the most part you can get around this by using the steering wheel controls if you buy the Maestro interface. The clarity of the backup camera is not sharp, not sure if this is because of the stock camera or the Pioneer unit, the Ford display was clear, but small. I knew upfront the outside temperature would be lost, I just don't understand why most aftermarket manufactures don't display temperature, it's a very simple circuit to program that has been used for decades. I bought the Pioneer because the comparable Kenwood was out of stock and the sales person recommended the Pioneer.

Really like the Car Play features. Sounds good for a low end system. Really crisp display

Great for the price. I could tell why it was cheaper. My biggest gripe is there's no physical button for a play, stop or skip track button. In order to get to those buttons you have to hit another button on the radio. Kinda dumb. Also, there's no quick mute button. You have to hold down a button for a while to get it to mute. Other than that. IT works well as expected. Sound quality is great.

Bought this a year ago and so far the product has made my commute much better with great quality sound. I am still able to make calls and receive notifications for messages. The only downside is that At times it does not connect with your phone right away when I start the car and as I drive I realize it wont connect until you are parked and have to turn the car off and then on again to reconnect.
