    Ok deck for the price

    It is a good, working deck. The interface is not the best, and the way it interacts with Google is kind of flawed, but that could be Android Auto's fault. I do wish I went for the next step up but I'm never satisfied so take that with a grain of salt.

    Get a professional - not Geek Squad - installer

    The Geek Squad technician, Mason, did such a poor job of installation, I don't know much of the problems I've had are the product's fault or his. What I know for certain about the Pioneer deck is that it has a small screen since a significant portion of the screen is hardwired to functions such as volume, mic, pause, eject, etc. The good part is that there is a CD/DVD function at the top of the deck. Android Auto works although the deck reset in the middle of a phone call.

    Ordered a car radio. don't mind waiting 6 weeks just wish it wasn't so expensive.....Can't rate the work or radio because I do not have it yet.....

    I HAVE HAD SOO MUCH TROUBLE SINCE YOUR COMPANY INSTALLED MY RADIOS I EVEN TOOK BACK TO CHECK N THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS GOOD HAD TO PURCHASE NEW STARTER NEW BATTERY BECAUSE MY CAR DOES NOT START EVERY MORNING LOOKS LIKE WHEN RADIO WAS INSTALLED IT WAS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND SOME WIRING THEY DID MUST KEEP KILLING MY BATTERY. SOOO FRUSTRATED AND MONEY I HAVE SPENT ON PARTS ON MY VEHICLE NOT NEEDED AND I NEED TO GET REIMBURSED AND PROBLEM FIXED...AND AT THAT I HAVE LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND NO RESPONSE.

    I've installed stereos for over 40 years, but couldn't get this one to work properly.

    I was looking forward to being able to use all this radio's features and CD/DVD player .. WON'T FIT IN A FORD FUSION! I had to buy a more expensive upgrade without a CD player.

    didn't work with 2014 Chevy Camaro convertible

    The unit was great but the Best Buy installers were unable to get it to play properly with the stock system in the 2014 Convertible Camaro. The sound volume was low, as if the stock amp wasn't properly hooked up.

    I ordered this because I need to view my back up camera. Ita grainy and the line that supposed to tell me when Im near with other cars is useless because its not showing when I backed up reverse.

    Android auto what happened.

    Well it was working great until 1 day the Android Auto disappeared, The I pod still works and so did the other usb software that it has but android auto is gone. Pioneer said to reset and unplug the car battery so I did and still nothing. returning it and going another brand.

      I am sorry to hear you are having a problem with Android Auto aspect of the unit.
      Make sure you try using different cables to connect your Android phone. You should also try connecting a different Android phone, to ensure it is not a communication issue with your phone. PUSATechAnswers

    Pioneer Radio Installation

    I have a Pioneer radio installed into my 2012 Toyota Highlander. As a result my car computer has malfunctioned and it will not open the back hatch and the radio functions on the steering wheel do not operate properly, air bag light it turned ON. I'm taking it to a Toyota dealer to see if the computer can be reset. So, although I like the radio, I'm not a fan of loosing many normal functions of the car.

    Overall good suite of features though the UI feels a bit clunky on occasion. Had to do some cutting/shifting in my dash due to the depth of the application.

    I should have spent the extra money and gotten a pioneer, the kenmore we got is not good. It is slow on its respond all the time. The tech sold us a front end camera which I did not need. It is a waste of money, should have used that money to buy a better back up camera and GPS. The GPS is slow when driving in catching up with the turns, Also the function is not that great-a bad product you shouldn't carry it anymore.

    Open box no good

    The item I purchased was supposed to be an open box deal. But when hooked up would turn on for half a second then shut back down. I followed the wiring diagrams perfectly. Double and triple checked my connections. I guess Best Buy's quality control Dept. didnt check it out good. I'll have to buy new only to make sure it's a working unit.

    Features seem to be pretty good but I do not like the buttons for the volume when mounted in the car it is hard to access.

    It's an okay radio. Sometimes I can't hear on my phone as well as the factory installed radio, but besides that, I like all the features.

    Radio package contents did not include operator manual. Radio has many functions and they are nearly impossible to learn without directions.
