    Was told I could use Apple CarPlay wirelessly, which you CAN’T. When asked sales representative, once again said it was capable of doing so. STILL NOT ABLE TO DO SO.

    DO NOT BUY PIONEER! I figured the bad reviews were from people that just like to complain, not true. Like other reviews you may come across here, this unit stopped working after a month of use. Problem is unit will not turn on in the morning in cold temperatures (35-45deg.F). I called Pioneer repair line and was told to warm up my car in the morning before driving to solve issue. Waste of $500.

    DOES NOT COME WITH A MICROPHONE Read the very fine print. The unit does not come with a microphone, it relies on an external microphone that you have to BUY SEPARATELY. Getting someone from BestBuy to help make sure you are buying all the right things is IMPOSSIBLE, by the way. In person, no one wants to help you past pointing out the aisle you need. And the chat is only good for copying and pasting the item description on the website. Ugh. Now I have to pay to have the thing removed again so I can have this separate microphone installed.

    Damaged in shipping, replacement was a Sony in the pioneer box, no discount or anything provided on the 3rd attempt let's see if it ends up correct...

    Awesome radio, Best Buy installation got it all working. I got it used good quality, microphone and remote parts were missing from the box.

    Good Features, Not So Good Screen.

    Screen is not good. Looks grainy and oily (like you smeared something greasy on it). The display cons are most apparent on bright screens which are not demoed in-store.

    I Purchased this on July 24, it was supposed to be installed on August 16. Went to the store to have it installed and found out that they were closed. No notification no nothing. I didn’t call corporate to find out what was going on and they told me that maybe next time I should call the store prior to going in for my install. The store is still closed. I have been rescheduled an appointment for September 5 if the store is open again. They are not compensating me for my time lost a product usage. Their compensation was to make me a new appointment.

    Received this unit from Best Buy and it is too small to fit in my 2013 Tahoe. It may work with mounting brackets and a filler panel, but not straight out of the box.

    still trying to figure it out but worse of all was waiting over a month to get it installed after I had to go online to buy my own parts they were the wrong ones but the auto tech recommended them

    This is the worst stereo tuner ive ever purchased ,it wont even capture a radio station 15 miles away totally pathetic, total piece of junk ,long long way from when pioneer had a super tuner and had pride in workmanship ,it also takes forever to boot up, wrong labeling on wiring harness caused installation to miss 14 day return policy, stuck with a 400.00 junk stereo , ill never buy anything from Best Buy ever again, ill buy from a vendor who accepts returns at least up to 30 days after purchase

    Great when it works. Unit turns off randomly. Apple car play works intermittently. I’ve changed out the cable for a new Apple cable, same issues. Paid another shop to look at it and they said that the head unit was bad, i contacted Best Buy and they looked at it and changed the module, they said the head unit was fine... still hasn’t worked and Best Buy has stopped returning my calls. This is bs due to having the radio for 1.5 years and out of manufacturers warranty.

    Worked with sales person and told him I wanted a wireless car play to find that it isn’t after it was installed by best, the rear speakers do not work do not work. Not happy!

      I am sorry to hear the sales person did not get you the correct unit. I would suggest working with the store manager to resolve the issue.

    My experience with Best Buy never started on the right foot. I payed to have a part shipped so I could keep an installation date. The day of the install was told that a part wasn’t ordered and need to postpone another week. The tech install the radio and is equipped with back up camera that never worked. I’m scheduled for a third time to have him fix the camera issue. I will never use Best Buy’s again!!

    "I upgraded it for the rear view camera abilities, all the music bluetooth functions and radio worked, but a big disappointment with glitches and not giving the ability to call handsfree to avoid distracted driving. Returning and exchange for the Sony 7 xav ax4000.

    Got mine though bestbuy, it came a day early. took it home pulled my old one out put the new one in and no sound. Nothing and no info on the internet as to why i figuge its a setting some where but who knows. The last pioneer i bought i hooked it up put a cd in and had music. Not this one!!! Its going back tomorrow. I guess ill do some research and try and find a good brand. Thanks gor wasting my time pioneer!!!!

    Bought as an upgrade for my 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Unfortunately, the salesman ignored/did not check to make sure it would fit my Jeep and also did not inform me of other items that would have been required for the install. About the only thing he did right was to make an appointment for the install, which I waited a month for only to find out this unit would not work in my Jeep.

    Found out the CD player has a default in it 29 day after buying best buys tell me I have to remove all all of the wiring for the radio to have it repaired or replaced I paid to have it installed seeing that best buys were not doing installs now I'm waiting to see how it plays out right now not happy

    I waited 4 weeks for an appointment to have you install my stereo. I get to my appointment and it was cancelled because they had no techs to install the product. They said it would be another 4 weeks before they could do the install. I returned everything and will not deal with this. I did not even get a phone call or anything. I drove 45 minutes to the appointment and it was cancelled. I wasted 2 hours out of my day
