I see that Pioneer is trying to make up for lost sales during the pandemic. This head unit is five years old and yet it is being sold as if it was brand new. Reading the reviews, which happen to be discouraging. I purchased and installed a Pioneer DVD head unit in 2014 and it continues to work today. The reason for the switch out is because I wanted a larger screen. My current unit is 6.2 and I wanted a 6. 75 screen or larger. This head unit does not offer USB-C Connectivity. it would not be compatible with the USB-A to USB-C conversion for charging. The iPhone 15 Pro Max nerds 30 watts to charge. This head unit only provides 1.5 V that’s not nearly enough to charge this phone. Contrary to popular belief, SACD is a popular disk format. Just as vinyl records a.k.a. LP‘s have made their come back. What I am waiting on, is for Pioneer to design a Blu-ray player in their head units. Blu-ray discs can hold more information. Thereby providing improved audio and video quality. I will be returning this head unit. With so much going on in the world, I don’t need additional headaches.

I purchased this system in 2020 and love it. It has been functioning beautifully since install. My only complaint about this system is that it doesn't do wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, but i knew that going into it. It is fantastic otherwise.

Purchased 2 of these. 1 went into a Chevy and the other into a Subaru Forester. The pros & cons are issues we are experiencing on both cars. Pros: Apple Car Play, Siri Support, fits the dash well, interface is decent. Cons: Runs hot - fans are always on, stereo turns off randomly, AppleCarPlay disconnects randomly. Other: Will require multiple adapter harnesses depending on your car and what other features your car has, steering wheel controls, back up camera, parking assist etc Story Time: System failed within 2 weeks of installing, two different Bestbuy's couldn't agree on the issue, they both claimed different issues: wrong harness for Chevy truck, bad install, back head unit, and then back to wrong harness. My parking assist still doesn't work and my unit still disconnects from Car Play. Have owned this unit for just over 13 month and I've literally have had it working at 50% of what it can do the whole time. The Forester install was much easier, no advanced features but after 4 weeks the unit wouldn't turn on. Had to take it out, mail it to repair facility, waited 6 weeks and constantly asked for updates before they finally shipped it back. Now 6 months later the unit is powering down on it's own and dropping Car Play. Absolute junk, no unit that cost over $500 should require this much maintenance.

I have owned this deck for a few months now it is a great middle of the road deck. The only problems I have had was car pay not popping up which disconnected the USB reconnected all good.

The product is excellent. Exceeded my expectations. The Geek Squad was very professional and did a great Job. Very Cool.

Just had this installed by Best Buy, it works with my old iPod gen. 5 through the USB connector. So far, I have no complaints.

This system **REQUIRES** you to rip apart the interior of your car just to run one skinny little wire to your parking brake switch. Now, perhaps some peope may be foolish enough to watch videos while driving, but that is not the issue here. The problem is if you don't rip apart the interior of your car for their wire, you **ALSO** are locked out of Android Auto and the vast majority of the configuration options. This is just unacceptable. I shouldn't have to dismantle my interior just to use the BASIC functionality of a radio I PAID for. For that I could have spent 1/4 to 1/5 of the price of this and gotten some cheap, basic knock-off and gotten the SAME level of functionality. If you don't feel like dismantling your ENTIRE interior, avoid this radio. Additionally, Pioneer are too stingy to actually provide a Users Manual with this unit. Not even the typical post-it-note sized manual in 3-point type that so many other manufacturers are passing off as adequate in their current offerings. Pioneer couldn't even manage THAT.

Amazing radio works better then the factory radio!

Been waiting over 2 months for an install. Rep told me that this deck came with everything needed to install, i.e. mounting bracket and steering wheel controls, which was obviously incorrect. I understand that the pandemic can delay things, but I was told I could schedule the install about a week after buying it.... It's 5 weeks later. When I went to the store, I was told to call for installation information. When I called the phone rang for 1h 30m and none picked up. Rep lied to me, although I wasn't dumb enough to believe him and I have NO information about the install. Beginning to think I wasted money here. Many other shops carry this at the same price and have installation readily available. If I do get this installed through Best Buy (God knows when?) I'll update the review. For now, this sucks.

Does this fit in dodge dart se 2015 ? No ody at best buy will answer the phones . Ive tried 3 different ones
