Poor radio for long term use

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy in Georgetown, installed this unit into my 08 Jeep Wrangler just under a year ago. About a month ago the unit started glitching out and then stopped working. This Best Buy has installed another radio that also took a poo on me. I don't know if it's the geek squad that is installing my radios wrong, or if it's my choice of radios that I'm having them install. Overall this radio worked great for about 7 months and then the screen went solid black and sometimes a white screen with colored lines running through it.

I had looked at this model and it fit what was needed. When I got to the store, there happened to be an open box item on the shelf. Installed the head unit and an amp and everything works perfectly.

Doesn't last

Now we just get a white screen. Started intermittently about 16 months after installation but now is most of the time. Of course standard warranty is only a year. Was nice while it lasted but i guess $350 doesn't buy what it used to.

Bad Quality

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Head unit for my Prius, for the first 7 months it was excellent, Then, closer towards the 9 th month the Android auto GPS started to flicker on and off while driving. A repair was needed and the cost to remove the unit from the car was 3X more than just purchasing an after market GPS unit.

The crossover and equalizer are great and will instantly improve the sound of stock speakers. Installed this deck into a 2013 Grand Cherokee. Paired with Crux steering controls and everything works flawlessly.

Decent radio for the money

The trim on the dash kit feels and appears loose. The radio works as intended and improved the sound quality of the sound system though.

Best aftermarket stereo on the market
