    Overall is a good purchase, it still lacks screen resolution for the cost of the item.

    Salesman did not know much about it, bought it because it carplay. Unfortunately, I have sxm radio and was told it would be the same and it was not. Have to have carplay in order to use when before I could get it through antenna. Install was fine however they duped and left all my stuff on the floor they had to move. Disappointing for the$$

      I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the DMH-1770NEX.
      This model cannot work with the factory SiriusXM tuner. You would need to get the SXV300 tuner from SiriusXM. Or, as you did, use their application through Apple CarPlay. PUSATechAnswers

    For the price this is excellent. It lacks wireless CarPlay but I honestly prefer the plug in.

    I like this stereo. The back up camera is good size, and I can see really well. It has different settings to help you see better, plus it has color. Radio works ok. It might be my factory antenna that makes it fuzzy some days. I don't listen to regular stations much. It does jam out for sure. Still learning all the functions.

    I want to like this, I really do. BUT there are so many bugs and cons to this. First off, the screen is not bright enough in sunlight. Second and probably the most annoying is that I have to factory reset this thing once or twice a week because it freezes and becomes unresponsive. Then all of my settings are lost! Finally, there is a weird bug with CarPlay and iMessage voice messages. I send a lot of voice messages and this makes my voice sound like I am screaming at the top of my lungs right into the mic and makes all of my messages distorted and inaudible. I have a couple weeks left before my return window close and if there isn't an update soon then this is for sure going back. I would not recommend this to anyone. Just get something else that has been around a little longer.

    I really am impressed with this upgrade on my Volkswagen. Every feature I could ask for is available and responds as it should. The installation was really well done by my local BestBuy team.

    I like it. Nice sounds. I love the mic on the stereo. You can "text" with your voice. Nice EQ setting. What I don't like about it is you have to plug in your phone every time. It is Sirius XM ready, but if you have to listen to the music, you have to play it thru your phone. You I recommend this product, no I would not.

      For Wireless Android Auto or Wireless Apple CarPlay, you might consider the DMH-W3000NEX.
      The DMH-1770NEX is SiriusXM Ready. If you purchase their SXV300 tuner, you can select SiriusXM as a source, without connecting your phone. PUSATechAnswers

    The head unit doesn’t give me any problems great audio clarity with the sub highly recommend. Easy to install and has good touch response

    Screen was completely busted. I'm actually shocked that best buy sold it like that, it's not in keeping with your quality control standards.

      I am sorry to hear the screen was broken. Unless it was an open-box item, they do not look in the box. I would suggest returning it to your store. You can also contact Best Buy at 888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the problem. PUSATechAnswers

    Awesome head unit for the price but my buddy that I purchased and installed it in after they broke there other headunit traded the truck in after a week of use. I hear that one week is was excellent. So glad I spent the money and time for one week use.

    It disconnects while driving this happens a lot more often when your on a call I can be in the middle of a call and it disconnects. It disconnects when the camera is in use
