    So far so good, lots of ways to adjust the sound settings and it kooks/sounds very good! I wish there was a way to move and remove apps that appear on the home screen but I can't figure it out..... If I am never going to use Sirius then why do I have to have that app front and center on my home screen??!!

    Bought this for my daughter’s Jeep to play music from apps and be able to make handsfree calls. Works great and was a much needed up grade for a 2006 Jeep. Best Buy hooked it up great and was in and out pretty fast!

    I regret this purchase almost every time I drive my car. I got this radio on sale but I don't think it was worth the sale price. The screen is barely bigger than my Pixel 6a screen, and it is not adjustable, so I can only see it when I don't have sunglasses on. I didn't realize that the clock was going to be very small and difficult to see while driving. I had not been informed before I ordered this that I would have to pay $100 extra if I wanted the volume control to be on the steering wheel (so I didn't get that additional purchase). So the only volume controls are a very small + and - that are not really safe to adjust while driving. The sound quality is no better than the radio that came with my 13 year old car. The rear view camera that was also installed is another set of problems, but I'll try to review that separately. (I don't know if the adjustments for that are a problem with this unit or that one.). Besides all of that, the installers estimated 2 hours and it took almost 4, and then they didn't close the underdash completely, so it fell into my lap as I was driving home. Needless to say, if I could go back I would not have made this purchase.

      I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the DMH-1770NEX.
      The screen size should have been made clear before you had it installed. The local stores usually have them on display for you to see.

      To retain steering wheel controls does require an adapter kit, these can range greatly in price and are different for most vehicles. These cannot be included with the stereos.

      The NHTS have set rules that we have to follow. We cannot have the parking assist lines show when the camera image first appears. The driver needs to see the full area, to ensure nothing is behind the vehicle. Then the driver can enable the parking assist lines, should they be needed.

      Please return to the installer, so they can properly close the dash for you. PUSATechAnswers

    Easy install, looks awesome, better sound that the factory unit in my Jeep wrangler. Apple CarPlay is a game changer. Please note that this unit connects to your phone via USB. There is no wireless connection.

    Excellent!! I have no complaints. Sounds good. Love it. Love my Apple car play. The guy who installed it did a good job. I will definitely recommend Best Buy/Installation to anyone who needs an upgrade like I did.

    BAD HEAD UNIT BEWARE

    I bought this head unit March 2022 and it failed today February 2, 2024. It only has a white screen with colored vertical lines. Nothing works. I’ve bought other Kenwood products and have not had this issue. I wish I had gotten the geek squad warranty because it only comes with a one-year factory warranty. Do not buy this head unit!
