Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this unit for JUST over a year. about 3 weeks after warranty expired, it started having the same issues as others have reported. • Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot up cycle. • Sometimes the screen becomes unresponsive. • Sometimes the screen turns white with colored vertical lines. • Sometimes the screen turns black. • Sometimes it just turns off. • Sometimes the radio and Bluetooth work, but the Android Auto doesn’t. • Sometimes the backup camera works and sometimes it doesn’t. • Sometimes after it boots up, all my settings have gone back to factory installed defaults. I have opened a case with Pioneer and at the onset, it seems they will work with me to get it fixed or replaced; however, it sounds like I will have to pay to return it. And, from others' reports, any repair may only be temporary. I am pretty upset that I paid close to $500 for a radio, all the cables, and installation from a well known brand that only worked for a year. It seems that with today's technologically intelligence, quality, support, and service should be a little more respectible.

Best Buy installed for free and everything works. The sound quality is much better than the factory VW system was and I did not upgrade the speakers.
