The sound from this radio is great, but when you're listening to non-HD FM radio stations, the song/artist display has a couple bugs. First, it only works with RDS RT+, not the regular RDS most radio stations use. Pioneer didn't implement backwards compatibility, so for a lot of stations, you won't see the info they're sending. Secondly, when listening to stations that do use RDS RT+, it shows the song/artist when you first tune to the station, but then when the song changes, the display doesn't change. In other words, it keeps showing the first song you listened to, not the ones that come afterwards. I'm thinking of exchanging it for the Kenwood DDX6706S which appears to have excellent RDS functions. And a minor inconvenience: you can't mute the volume quickly...you have to hold down the mute button for 2-3 seconds before it activates. And the buttons to raise/lower volume are very small. I use the remote control as a work-around to these two problems. Other than that, this radio has a lot of nice features and made my stock speakers sound so much better.

This receiver was installed on July 4th but so far it has exceeded my expectations. I like the Apple Car ability it has. I also really like that the SiriusXM stations have 3 separate access points to program-in your favorite stations. I hope my satisfaction of this receiver continues for years to come ..

This was a super good buy especially with free geek squad installation. Mainly bought to replace the factory system in an f150. Was looking for something with CarPlay and a physical media player. The UI is easy to navigate and setting up was simple. Would recommend. Only thing I would look for that this doesn’t have would be a glass screen to simulate and phone touch screen.

Got this to replace my stock unit in my 2008 Jeep Commander which had started glitching. This unit covers most of what my old unit had plus more. I like the customizable display, Android audio is nice so that I can have the navi and other phone functions on screen, I only wish I didn't have to plug it in for those extra features. The blue tooth connects automatically everytime I get in the car, no issues there. I do notice that ppl can't hear me as well as they used to on the factory speaker when I'm in a call. I dropped a star due toa couple small issues. Apparently, because it's a Jeep, with the factory amp and 6 speakers, I can't use the fader. All speakers end up the same volume. I miss that. Also, I wish that the display was configured a little differently when I listen to music on blue tooth. I can't read the whole titles and artists since there is a text box over it. As a whole though, it's great!

Works well, easy functions, android auto/apple play can't beat it!

It's been a week and I love our new car stereo! The reception is fantastic and the quick plug and play with my iPhone for music and maps/directions was impressive. WAY better than my factory Toyota stereo that died before the car was even 3 years old! Appreciated Best Buy's free installation and their friendly and helpful staff.

Works great. Android Auto, DVDs, HD radio...Hard to ask for anything more.

Totally satisfied with my unit. Has everything that I could possibly want. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it doesn't have a built-in mic on the front of the interface like my previous unit. This one uses a wired mic that has to be pinned to the cars liner. It also doesn't have a front USB port. It uses a USB connection in the back. It doesn't have two though so when I use it, the port in my car no longer functions as a data receiving port. Only charges but it's still a great unit. Highly recommend.

Car stereo is a great upgrade from factory. The integration with Android auto is nice, though i wish it was wireless. It can have 2-3 apps open at a time with a split screen interface.

You can't go wrong with this one. All kinds of audio and video options and enhancements. 1 star off because of the USB Only accepting fat32 format for flash drives, and folder and file limits. Android Auto and apple play work great, but that requires constantly plugging and Un plugging the phones. I would like a ntfs or xfat compatible device with no file limits.

I upgraded it for the CarPlay mainly, all the functions and hands free that lets you do to avoid distractions while driving, but it has a lot more options, had radio, Sirius compatibility, reads and plays cd and dvd, the only not too good thing is the volume button, you have to look at it, and sometimes you press something else, but overall all it’s a great purchase!!!

Bring your car into the new age with this head unit. So many features and style like a brand new car u forget how old your car might actually be! Bluetooth works great allowing for new Apple phones to be able to charge and play music instead of being Hard wired to the deck. And if you still play MP3’s you can fit Several hundred on a DVD disc.

upon doing some online research , i decided to go with this model . Although i qualified for free installation there was over a month waiting time for an appointment . So , i decided to install my self . easy instructions . works great and sounds great . the Apple car play works seamlessly . i've had this a few months and had no issues at all .

Purchased this model to upgrade from an older model that didn't have Apple CarPlay features. I am completely pleased with the added features and capabilities that have allowed me to add a back-up camera and seamlessly integrate my cell for calls, directions, etc. Catching the unit on sale makes the deal even sweeter!

This unit replaced the stock radio in my Ford transit van. It’s great because I can use Apple car play. It fit into existing space with purchase of Meta adapter and technician who installed it was able to connect to factory rear view camera. Highly recommend it
