I've always stuck with Pioneer and after years of no upgrading I pulled the trigger. I love the endless features and I'm positive I made the right choice and got it for a great price on sale.

Very nice apple CarPlay capability, touchscreen, onscreen maps, voice texting and sounds great too. Always have been a pioneer fan, they make excellent products that have never failed me. 5 stars

Great upgrade on my 03 4runner. Wish the volume was a knob (but that wouldnt look clean). Fast response to the touch. Makes my old speakers come alive! So fari really like this radio.

The stereo was well fixed and I liked how everything looks because you don’t see no cables moving around in the car and all. I like how my stereo was fixed for free and I’m really enjoying this stereo

I love the function the display , sounds great, perfect colors I'll like the maps, went change to satellite I'll like how you can play the tex message and you can send messages ese I'm so glad to buy.

Radio and installation went as planned. I have occasionally had problems with Apple Car Play not working or being responsive. My biggest gripe is that the radio is promoted with Alexa built in. It turns out you have to download two apps, on your phone, for Alexa to work. Alexa is very limited on what she can do. Siri works better and all I need is a Bluetooth connection. I wish there was voice control in changing channels

I had another of these units .....I think a 4200 NEX and they are great. I put this one in a 2006 4Runner and it looks as good as the original nav unit.

This dashboard smart screen is awesome. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa and a DVD Player.

Great radio, easy access around the menus... BUT if you’re someone with big hands, changing the volume and pressing the physical buttons on the front-left side of the radio can be difficult.

Bought for our 2011 Silverado truck. Had Best Buy install it and he did an amazing job. Works great and also had a backup camera installed with it. So much cheaper than buying a new truck. Love it.

I love this radio!! Everything about it says quality!! Bluetooth is great, I have not had any complaints about not being heard while talking on the phone through the Bluetooth!!

Love the Pioneer radio and the features it has. Simple to use and very intuitive. The hands free function for my phone is outstanding.

I just got this, but am happy with the hands free and car play etc. my 2 complaints would be the size of the buttons (too small and hard to access) and the brightness of the screen (hard to see during the day).

Installer was a pro, knew how to run all the wires and set up the optional accessories. Gave me a detailed instruction after install. Very pleased with product and installation. First class job!

Stereo sounds way better than the 2016 Nissan factory although the CD player doesn't work so I have to return it. First call to Best Buy ended in a recording that no one was able to assist at this time which was normal business hours. Also Best Buy didn't tell me another part was needed to hook into the existing rear camera. At the time of the install I was told about the part and they could not order. Bottom line... I think the stereo will be cool eventually but I probably should have bought from a local business who specializes in car audio.

Merry Christmas to me... This stereo does not let u down... Sounds great in my truck... Way better than a stock stereo... Upgraded stereo instead of the whole truck.. Great deal

Yes, one buys a stereo for the sound. But one also pays the premium price for the additional features. This one fails miserably. You can buy a car stereo that sounds about this good for $200. You pay the other three for the features. That was a mistake. First, you can't read the display in the daytime. So, if you are using Android Auto to look at a map, you might as well forget it. While the Android Auto interface is actually pretty good, you have to use the only USB input to connect your phone, so you then can't listen to music on a USB stick. No problem, you say, I'll just connect my mp3 player to the 3.5mm mini jack. Good idea, except there isn't one. You can't connect a music player to the unit. Speaking of USB sticks, I have no idea how it sequences the music. Even though it's separated into folders, the sequencing of playback is unpredictable. I've used an mp3 tag program to edit all the music metadata and it doesn't recognize track numbers at all. So, I actually renamed the WAV files, starting each with the track number -- Nope. Didn't work. I contacted Pioneer about which USB sticks to use and they actually replied, "Try a Kingston, we have had really good results with that brand. " Well, that's true. And I can tell you, you'll have bad luck with a lot of other name brands. It does play CDs, but no there is no CD text. Pretty much inexcusable in a $500 unit. To put this in perspective, I have a Chevy Impala with an LCD screen and CD/Bluetooth/USB stereo. I can see that screen in the brightest sunlight, it does have a 3.5mm AUX input jack, and I have a choice of three USB ports that will play from a USB stick. Not only does it show CD text, but also album art. So, this can be done! And relatively speaking, a Chevy Impala is not an expensive car. Bottom line, I would not buy this again.
