Made an appointment on the phone for a radio install. Had to drive over an hour to get there just for my appointment to be 3 weeks later than what was discussed and confirmed on the phone? Then, once I got there the tech said i was going to have to pay $400 additional to get the radio to work in my 2016 subaru crosstrek? So somehow this $400 radio turned into $800 and i had to order all these additional parts that he couldnt even guarantee would be in stock by the time my “actual” appointment was. Left within 5 miniutes of being there trying to charged double what I already paid. I had to drive the hour home since the Best Buys in my area dont do installs. Decided the next day to return the radio in store since it was way more intense of a purchase than i relazed and felt like a scam. I bought this same radio in 2021 for my ford F-250 and it was a breeze! Brought in the radio, they installed it in 1 hour for no additional price and I was on my way. Still love it to this day! When I explained my sitiation the kind man at the check out, he agreed that it seemed strange and felt like they were asking for money for no reason. Really bummed as this was a Christmas gift.

This receiver is easier to operate than the previous 2 that I've owned. I've always been a Pioneer fan.

Radio sounds amazing and is very user friendly. The built in Spotify is a great and convenient feature.

9 Months in and I really don't have anything bad to say about this head unit. The interface is clean, responsive and I've been able to use custom backgrounds and startup screens with no issue. A million miles ahead on OEM Tacoma head unit. Only down side would be lack of wireless car play but, if that's important to you, there's a more expensive version that has it.

Pioneer radio works flawlessly. Also I used meastro RR. Touch screen is great and the user interface is great

When we were looking for a replacement head unit for our 2004 Toyota Highlander I knew we wanted quality but not overpriced. Best Buy to the rescue. I talked to a professional in a chat about the products I wanted. They steered me toward the Pioneer unit. It is simple to use, Apple car play is seamless and the clarity of the screen for the added back up camera is exceptional. Overall I would rate my experience a 10, but they only score to a 5, so a 5 it is.
