I think I made a mistake whenI bought this. I have to pair the Bluetooth every time and it cuts off A LOT. Definitely reconsider before buying this model. Looks decent though...

WebLink has to be up running on your phone for it to work on the radio. Very limited apps.

I have a Nissan Versa 2017 and the odd fact it had bluetooth calling but not bluetooth music was just odd, but the fact that the original unit began to have issues where i couldn’t make calls after a call or after a voice command to siri was troublesome. i had some reservations about installing a new system as my biggest worry is that it would not overcome the sound of the highway and car while i drove 80mph. to put even a new system in and not have it drown out that sound would frustrate me to no end. but i decided to try their were other things I wanted to have in my car that a new Stereo Receiver would remedy. (apple carplay, android Auto, bluetooth calling that worked.) so I initially wanted a different unit but it looks like 0 were in stock, so after some thinking I figure i would get this one. and it didn’t disappoint, and my worries were baseless. this unit does what i want and even more. Apple Carplay and Android auto, has a spot for a backup camera, spot for video in and equalizer when paired with the JBL 628 6.5” speakers i bought make my favorite songs so powerful it makes me move to them. allowing the deep bases to sound deeper and more powerful. and other sounds to be more rich I officially could care less to drive the wife’s 2021 Corolla which i slightly envied the better sound it already had. I can officially ditch the FM Transmitter i was using to play music. and was temporarily using to make and take calls in the car. but it had its problems. people hearing me was a problem. now i am only bothered by the lack of static in my stereo system, but am rapidly growing more comfortable of it. played the Terminator 2 soundtrack and I really want to utilize the Video In on the unit and watch a movie in my car…

Amazing headunit! CarPlay works seamlessly. HD radio is also a huge convince and get much better local stations than normally available. Touch screen is very responsive and sound quality is very good as well. Worth every penny! In my opinion this is the best CarPlay unit in terms of quality and features in this price range.

Love this apple CarPlay. Easy to navigate and connect my apple phone. The HD radio has a wonderful sound and quality. No more static or lost stations.

Bottom line is this unit is the best car stereo I have ever owned by leaps and bounds. It does everything well - bluetooth is fast and flawless, apps respond instantly on the touch screen, absolutely no lag time when turned on, and the sound - especially when lossless files are used via apple music or amazon hd is better than my stereo sounded prior to this with an amplifier and high end speakers. I know some will not like that that apple car play and android auto aren't bt accessible but in the end they both work so seamlessly with usb input I cant see how this will matter to anyone that buys this great headunit.

Got this as a birthday present last May (2024). Price was right (on sale) and had Apple Car play which was a key component to our choice. It was a replacement to my initial purchase (another brand with hard to read screen) and turned out to be fantastic. We put this is in his Nissan Frontier and he couldn't be happier. It's easy to see and the functionality is easy. Major upgrade over his OEM stereo. Had Best Buy install and their team was great. Dad and son are happy with this one.

Recently got this unit to replace a 10 year old Pioneer that lost its hands free features because the new iPhones don’t support it. After having it for almost a month, I feel comfortable writing a detailed review. Unlike my previous stereo, this thing connects quickly via Bluetooth and automatically plays music where I left off (Apple Music / Spotify). The stock speakers in my car buzz less as this thing is EQing better and handling the low end better. Dialing in the sound was much quicker as the defaults were already very close. I’ve noticed there are a lot of weird bugs though. Through Bluetooth, you can either be in Bluetooth or iPod mode (would be nice to rename these labels). iPod mode actually shows album art and more detail. But when you shut off the car and come back, powering back on to iPod gives you a playback error and you have to switch to Bluetooth to get it to work again. Sometimes the screen controls will act up. Clicking on any UI element will bring up the menu quickly and then it’ll disappear — on everything — shutting off the car and rebooting seems to fix it. Sometimes when plugged in to CarPlay, my steering wheel controls won’t respond — reboot to fix. Overall, the unit seems very temperamental. One of the most annoying things is the UX. Whoever designed the architecture needs to be fired, rehired just to be fired again. The user flows and buttons are not intuitive at all. It shouldn’t be this difficult to navigate screens / features. Overall for the money, it’s a great deal and the sound is nice. If you’re willing to deal with a few hiccups here and there and the lack of a physical volume button, I recommend this head unit.

Had this pioneer car audio system installed in a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK (old body) by Bestbuy and the installation looks great. This system allows us to Bluetooth and stream from music apps, make and receive hands free calls. Pairing the an IPhone was easy. I installed an aftermarket backup camera and now have that capability. The sound through the factory speakers are really nice. Just proves you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get what you want.

I've had this for about a month now, and I've been very happy with the upgrade over my old radio (which already was a replacement of my factory radio). The installer was able to fit it into my 2007 PT Cruiser (involved cutting the dashboard), the only thing I had to set up manually was the rear view camera (sold separately) parking guide lines (easy enough, following the manual, just had to put the parking brake on to enable the set up option). I found an add-on that plugs into the USB port to enable wireless Apple car play (the only negative is that initially when the radio turns on it starts off in 'iPod' mode because it thinks that's what plugged into USB port) - It takes maybe 10 seconds before wireless air play kicks in with the add on. With Car Play, I usually have Waze navigation on (with things like red light camera alerts) alongside YouTube Music (where I can, for example, say "Siri, next song" to skip a song). It's a nice add on for an older car, and makes the car feel 'new' to me. I also have added Sirius (sold separately, subscription required) support, and for example I like listening to news and talk radio with that.

Pioneer 2660 really improved the overall listening experience in the car. The main reason we purchased this unit was Apple CarPlay and it did not disappoint. The HD radio sounds good and the receiver has lots of adjustments to fine tune the sound. There are no issues with the unit other than the unwanted buzzing/static noise. Hopefully, the installer, Geek Squad in Manchester, MO, will take responsibility and take care of the noise. So the product gets 5 stars and the installer gets 2.

Oscar at Almaden San Jose Best Buy did a great job installing my new sound unit! The apple car play and bluetooth work seamlessly and def worth every penny of the purchase. Can’t wait to go back to Best Buy for more auto upgrades. The units touch screen doesn’t glare and doesn’t have any lag. It’s super easy to use and change settings.

Works great! Apple car play is fast and responsive! I really like the fact when you get in and the Bluetooth connected every time so you can stream music with no effort. I added a backup camera and that works great also. Overall very happy. Sounds good and very responsive.

Awesome replacement for any OEM radio. The sound out of this thing is fantastic. I needed a kit to connect directly to my car's harness which I had to purchase separately. I also needed a harness that takes the 12V power out from the Pioneer and converts it to 5V for my external amps which was also purchased separately. Hands free operation with my phone is fantastic. The main screen updates its view when I turn my lights on which is helpful for driving at night. My phone uses android carplay which works fantastic on this Pioneer. The Pioneer has a line out for satellite radio but the SiriusXM app plays just fine from the phone. If driving in places where phone reception is poor I recommend buying the separate sattelite radio antenna harness. I installed this unit in my 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra. I highly recommend this very simple update to your OEM head unit. I installed this unit in an afternoon once I had all the parts needed.

Great sounds looks nice easy to use easy to install in a 2007 Honda CRV - had an excellent tech person that installed the radio.

Works with a 2018 Fiat 500 Lounge. So most likely any 2016 and later Fiat 500. It was a hellava time finding what hardware would would with my Fiat 500 and whether it could even support a dual head unit. I got this unit as a bit of a test and am happy to say it worked out. Apparently the fit was tight, but the BB installer did a great job. Android Auto and the other features of this unit really brought the car into the current era. I was worried about the lack of physical nobs, but with the Maestro unit allowing the steering wheel buttons to continue working, I barely use the volume buttons on this unit - and am glad to have a large screen instead of the dinky stock Fiat unit.
