Allows for all music streaming platforms and Sirius XM. Now I have full Apple car play and google maps is viewed on a much bigger screen than my phone. Reads my text messages and phone connects via Bluetooth as well. Am loving it.

Posted .You are correct, the DMH-2660NEX does not support Wireless Android Auto.
The Bluetooth should connect when you start the stereo.

Great Upgrade

I replaced my factory radio with this Pioneer unit, and the sound is terrific! I love the easy menu and how quickly the touch feature responds. Menu is easy to navigate.

Dealer stated that a replacement audio unit for my 2012 Honda Accord would cost around $1500. Best Buy installed the Pioneer DMH-2660NEXS for just over $400 which now gives me a display with CarPlay to my iPhone. Navigation and Radio tuning and display of songs is beautiful. This unit does require a USB cable to connect for CarPlay but the Radio functions just fine without the phone connection.

My only problem is that with the maestro i can't receive calls due to the fact my truck has on-star. When I get a call on-star takes over and I can't hear the other person.They are obsolete once 2G was eliminated. I can make calls. But overall it is a good head unit

Great Headunit

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headunit, I have had it for almost a year now and I have been happy with this headunit since day 1, the 4v pre-outs was an upgrade from the last head unit and the sound output has been clear and clean since day one. The headunit without having a cd/dvd player and being priced at where it's at first had me doubtfull about buying it but overall I am nothing but happy with this unit. The screen never lags but the backgrounds and button layouts are a little simple for this headunit but I am still happy with it. I gave it a 4 for value due to no cd/dvd player and 4 for ease of use due to the layouts. I do however really recommend this unit due to the great features to this unit. I will soon purchase the Idatalink to see what this headunit also do.

I wanted something that was easy to use since he’s elderly. It’s very user friendly and he loves it. No issues yet.

Apple car play is something I couldn’t imagine not having in my car. I’m easily able to view GPS and change songs easily. It’s the best stereo I’ve ever had and it was simple to set up.

IT HAS CAM IN AND STILL NOT INSTALLED. I STILL HAVE NO REGULAR RADIO, ONLY 1 HD STATION, AND CANNOT USE THE PHONE THRU THIS RADIO OR PLAY MUSIC UNLESS I HOOK TO A POWER CORD, WHICH IS VERY FRUSTRATING! ALSO, SINCE INSTALL I HAVE HAD ODD ISSUES, LIKE MY DOOR LOCKS HAVE LOCKED & UNLOCKED THEMSELVES WHILE I AM DRIVING! AND WHEN I START MY CAR (DOOR CLOSED) THE SOUND OF YOU HAVING THE KEY IN THE IGNITION WITH DOOR OPEN BLARES WHEN I TURN THE KEY TO START MY CAR! I AM A BIT FRUSTRATED. AND REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THIS YET! ALSO, I HAD A REMOTE IN THE BOX WHEN I PURCHASED, AND I HAVE NOT SEEN IT AT ALL SINCE INSTALL!!!!! NOT OK
