Bought like new used. Everything was there. Actually, there was an extra cable that was not part of I,t which was for a Ford that the previous person left behind.

Safety for older travelers

We love ours. We are an older couple and drive an older model truck. This is so much safer and can keep us connected during our travels. Added backup camera and it was living on the cake

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. Antenna reception is horrible. Can't I use Apple carplay or Android auto without plugging into USB. Bluetooth goes in and out and for 2 weeks now we are still trying to figure out how to hook up the stock reverse camera. It was meant to be a nice upgrade for my wife's car and it's only been a big mess. She has asked me to put the stock system back in.
I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your DMH-1800NEX. You are correct, it supports Wired Apple CarPlay and Wired Android Auto. Please have the installer double check the connections. Perhaps it needs a better ground or there is a factory amplified antenna that is not being powered up. These will cause poor radio reception. Please contact Best Buy at 1-888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the reverse camera problem.

Its okay. I basically ordered this because the bluetooth stereo I previously had wasn't working. The box on this said that there would be maps on here, and it's not. I can basically only use this for bluetooth and music, which is false advertisement. I may reach out for some sort of a refund because I am not happy about that

Just not liking it. Definitely not worth almost $800 to install. The extras that you have to buy to add to me is misleading and the product itself not crazy about it. It's a touch screen and if I need to lower it or raise the volume you have to keep touching it. But to me it doesn't work very well especially if I get a call and I need to lower it.
Most vehicles will require a dash adapter and/or a wiring harness adapter kit. The more advanced systems require special interface adapters. These adapters can get very expensive.

Train your employees and fix your signs

I asked for a wireless android auto head unit. The salesperson said this is the radio I'm looking for. It even said so on the signage. I get it home and can't connect wirelessly. Turns out it's really not wireless. Had I read other reviews on here id have known before purchase. You know it's not wireless, I told you it's not, I even told your adset people the signs wrong. I spoke to the store manager and advised the same. Is the sign taken down? Nope. It's still there.

Your display said this radio had witeless android auto and after your installer installed it he told me it didnt.
When i bought it the first installer showed it to me and said it had wireless android auto which isnt his fault because your display did say wireless.
Not very happy with bestbuy.
And we both know nothing will be done about this!!!
I am sorry if there was a mix up with the signage. The DMH-1800NEX does not have wireless Android Auto or wireless Apple CarPlay capabilities. Please contact Best Buy at 888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the problem.
