It looks amazing on my 2002 mercedes benz. It's so easy to use and the quality of the screen is very HD.

But they lied to me about the installation they said hour in a half its been over two hours now and I am still waiting the technical guy just look at me and told me it is what it is very unprofessional if you ask me and they act like they don't care about my time

The unit was dead when I took it to be installed. Never heard a note from it. The decision at the store was to replace the unit with a similar product.

First time owning a receiver like this. Bought it for my 06 Fusion because the radio display stopped working. HD Radio works great. CD works great. Android Auto works great. Have to have phone plugged in for Android Auto but I knew this, however, when phone is plugged in, Pandora greys out and is unavailable until you unplug phone and use bluetooth only. Overall Im very happy with it.

I read most of the reviews before and after I purchased the AVH-4100NEX. Much to my disappointment, I'm not able to use Waze, but there is another possible way, more on that later, as I have to test it. I did manage to connect my S5 to the deck using the cable included, but this only worked using the second usb slot, the first I presume is for Apple side of things. So if you're up to date on all required items, i.e. Android 5.0 and such, but still get incompatible product, just switch ports. I bought an Audio Vox backup camera which was sort of a pain to install as I had to buy an extra video cable to run the length of my 2005 F-150 STX FLARESIDE. Initially I installed in the wrong port, which presented no picture, but this was soon corrected. My unit had not been updated when I purchased on June 9th, so I updated the Firmware to version 1.03, this seemed to help with the Android Auto setup. But it may be that you needed to make sure the E-brake wired connection setup was complete before this happen, though I'm not completely sure of this. I'm very happy everything works as it should after some rocky starts. I will update if possible about using more apps than what is available on Android Auto, as only Google music, Google maps plus a few others I don't care about are on.

I'm compared this unit to the Kenwood unit also offering android auto and hands down this one is better and it also gives you way more options than the Kenwood especially since if someone you know has an apple device they can plug in as well to take advantage of car play

I wish it wasn't a targeted item thieves go to steal. I had my sweet radio for 3 months then went shopping at target and it got stolen....not to mention an additional $3900 in damages to my vehicle...I'm buying this radio again! But I'm also installing a Viper alarm

Pioneers entry unit for android auto or apple car play. I love it. Sadly its a fusion of relying on android and pioneer to co-op but so far the support has been there. I just hope they continue to support it with updates on both sides. So far so good.

I am disappointed in my AVH4100NEX radio that I purchased from Best Buy a couple months ago. Before buying the 4100, I research other brands and decided on the Pioneer AVH4100NEX. Pioneer has a great reputation for quality audio products, so I purchased the AVH4100NEX with the comfort of knowing that I purchased a good quality product. The radio itself works great, the Bluetooth links automatically with my Samsung Note 3 for hands free calling and Pandora. That is where my satisfaction for the 4100 ends. The system will not recognize my Samsung Note 3 with Android 5.0 when connecting to the USB2 port on the back of the receiver. I purchased the recommended wiring harness Pioneer recommends, but still the system will not recognize my phone. I have read complaints from people who are experiencing the same problems as I, and they also have received little to no help from Pioneer. The ones who have received a response, common theme from Pioneer is the phone device is not compatible, even though Pioneers website promotes Samsung phones, and especially the Note 3 to be compatible with the 4100. . I truly wish I could give this product a positive review but I can't. Pioneer is not consumer friendly which is doubly disappointing. I sent Pioneer an email with a list of issues twice, I am yet to receive a response from Pioneer. In summary, if you are looking for an intelligent audio entertainment system for your car that works seamlessly with your personal device, Pioneer may not be the brand to chose. I sincerely hope you will have better success with a Pioneer system than I, but in event that you don't, be prepared to feel disappointed and cheated.

I love it & I hate it. Now wireless carplay is out, and it doesn't look like Pioneer thought much about future-proofing a system. When we already pay $600-700 for smartphones when they come out, I wish companies would give us a couple of years in between needing to upgrade. We got it for carplay & carplay alone (through the firmware update), but come on. Now, wireless carplay. Pioneer, you knew it would come. Good thing is, most of the time I keep it plugged in, but it would be nice to hop in real quick & not have to mess with plugging it in if I'm in a hurry.

Best ever! I will never buy any radio Gan except Pioneer as I still have it and it still works!
