    I have a mint 2008 low milege Shelby GT 500 , i wouldnt let just anyone touch my car and interviewed 5 installers. Ron at westland best buy helped me pick the right stereo and installation was flawless - he also made in the event i wanted to put the original back in for sales reasons. Ty sir

    Works great when it's working. Glitches a lot and doesn't connect android auto wireless half the time. It is a nice system and has a customizable background. Just wish it consistently worked and didn't have to mess with it as much to get the android auto to start

    Bought a open box unit. It literally arrived with the box open. It supposed to be with all the parts inside, but there were missing parts. Luckily I didn't need those missing parts to install it. It looked fancy and the sound was really good, but after connecting it with android for about 20 minutes, it loses connection. I don't think its a common problem on this model, but my unit specifically. Luckily it is still returnable. I'll come back to my old pioneer unit for a while.

    Stopped working after 30 days from initial installation. Pioneer requires I pay to have it uninstalled, ship to them, then pay to have the repaired unit re-installed again. The car audio industry as a whole has a shady reputation. I was hoping Best Buy would have a large enough company/oversight to protect customers from faulty equipment and poor installation, and I unfortunately experienced both. $1,200 lesson.

    Wireless CarPlay is temperamental, you’ll usually need a wire. Stereo controls randomly gray out so you can’t use them. Then it restarts randomly and even resets. Don’t waste your time!

    Very satisified on my 2006 Sienna XLE Limited

    Device: This head-unit replaced the stock JBL Synthesis Navigation head-unit on my 2006 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited and integrated with kits to the stock backup camera, steering controls and built-in JBL receiver. The larger floating screen has really elevated the driving experience and given the vehicle a more modern look. If your Sienna is in decent shape and you use an iPhone, I strongly recommend this upgrade. My primary purpose was Wireless Apple Carplay and this unit provides a good balance betwen cost, performance and display size. With my iPhone 13 Pro, Carplay connects wirelessly within 10 to 15 seconds of starting the car. The Backup camera is hardwired so is available immediately on putting in reverse. By the time I am done backing up, Navigation is usually up and running automatically. I lost the wireless connection a couple of times in 1.5 months. In the 1st instance, connecting the phone via the provided USB cable fixed it. In the 2nd, I had to go to head-unit settings and re-select the paired phone. Bottomline, Carplay connection is pretty stable. Since this was integrated directlly into the built-in JBL receiver, it is driving all the 10 factory speakers including the sub. Sound quality is good - about same or slightly better than original, but I can't tell much as the vehicle has a lot of road and wind noise. Audio from phone calls is actually much better! I have no way to verify, but I “think” the OEM setup was sending sound to driver side speaker and the this head-unit is pushing it through the center channel on the dash. The quality of the OEM mike on this car was pretty bad, sadly, the wired mike that came with this head-unit is about the same. Setting iPhone "voice isolation" helps a bit. Best Buy experience: I am REALLY satisfied with the Best Buy experience. Installation was done by Geek Squad at their store in Milpitas, CA. The out of door cost was competitive and better than mom/pop stores. The order was taken by Brad and installation was done by Chris and Darren. All three were pleasant and really knowledgable. I am a picky customer and both Chris and Darren were really accomodating with my exacting needs. Since this is a really old car, I noticed how careful they were to avoid breaking anything. A few days after installation, I noticed the speaker on driver’s side door wasn’t working. Chris figured out that the speaker cable was broken where it enters the door and fixed it with just a half-hour labor charge. They hadn’t touched that area during the install, so I am sure it was broken for a while, but I was impressed that they didn’t get defensive when I bought it up. The real test of customer service is after sales support and I rate this as excellent customer service. I had also noticed that sometimes, Google Maps would swing around widely when passing through intersections, even when I was headed straight. Chris and Darren were kind enough to relocate the head-unit’s GPS antenna from top of the unit, to the top of the speedometer hump (both under the dashboard). This seems to have helped a bit, but I think this may be a Google Maps issue. This was covered for free with the extended warranty. The true experience with a vendor is when you need after-sales service and I am VERY satisifed. If you can find a convenient Best Buy installation service near you, I strongly recommend both purchase, installation, and their extended warranty.
