Bad for the money

Beware Firmware 1.55

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked the first time I used after install, I updated the firmware to 1.55 (huge pain by the way), then the sound would not work! I figured out if I turned the key to power the unit on but not turn the engine on, let it connect and play sound prior to turning the engine on, the sound then continues to work even after you turn the engine on. Huge pain to not just be able to turn your engine on and go. This was for a 2010 Toyota Sequioa

Pioneer radio

Not great

Back then this technology didn't exist. So I was really excited about purchasing this receiver, but greatly disappointed to see that 7 months after installation it freezes every 10 minutes, sometimes less. It automatically turns off by itself, turns on, connects to android, and repeats the process, which is really annoying. It's quite an expensive receiver to be having these problems.

bad quality control

One had a bad usb receiver and the other had a two bad camera inputs as well as a microphone input. It mostly worked good but there seems to be bad quality control at the factory. Also beware that Pioneer does not accept warranty repairs on open box items despite what Bestbuy says. Make sure you check it out before the 30 days is up.

Best Buy has poor customer service

That is more inefficient and wasteful then just refunding the $63. Both were the same exact condition and both were available for shipping.

One day before it was to be installed I called to confirm and discovered that not only would the not be anyone to install it, I could not even go to the store I purchased it from (Wichita Falls, TX.) but there was nobody even near me that could or would install it. I was not only misled about the installation but I feel I was out0and-out-lied to about it.

Nice but not worth the money

The worst condition I have ever seen

It washed rapped or any shipping contents to protect the radio and when it came to installation. The guy at Best Buy said there were missing pieces. I lost time my appointment and SUPER AND EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. I wish I was compensated as I had to buy another. The box was all mangled from the radio being bounce and thrown around during delivery. Best Buy you need training on how to ship your products. Compensation please would be appreciated.

Buyer Beware

After appointment after appointment being cancelled due to lack of installers, I am still waiting for Best Buy to arrange installation. If no one is able to install auto audio why does Best Buy continue to offer and schedule these service. Customer service was also short and rude when I called in for assistance. Beware of these issues before you buy.

Pioneer Is Not The Same-Headache

Lazy geek squad

The radio was made to fit along with the adapters and wiring.

There is not a way to have the parking assist lines automatically show when you go in reverse.
