Cant complain for the price . just a basic cd player

After installing car speakers, servicemen installed my CD Player and Face-plate. Once it was installed, he went over how it worked. New Face-pate was simple compared with my last one. I was satisfied.

I bought this for my dad and he LOVES IT! It sounds good and it is easy for him to use. It is easy to set the stations, which is what he needs.

If you are looking for bare minimum this is not too bad.

The controls are horrible. If you go to turn up the music and accidentally press the knob too hard, it takes you to a menu that is hard to get out of. No easy off button. It sounds ok, but it's very frustrating.

Bought for a friend an he seems to love it. Great buy.

I bought this for use in my 77 VW bus, wanted something that would enable use of my IPOD so i can listen to the appropriate Grateful Dead tunes, without interuption, with enough volume to get past the VW engine noise....works well

The price was excellent for the product. The techs were professional. They programmed my stations that were already programmed in my old radio. That was a plus. I purchased it because it has a connection for my mp3 player. Love it.

ONLY complaint I have for this is the Volume/Menue control...Keeps shutting off the volume control if you bump it, which you WILL, if you are driving and reaching for the control to turn it down....

Having grown up with vinyl records and radios with only am. It's a nice upgrade! There are a lot of us that love the radio but don't want to have to go thru training to figure out how to turn the volume up and down!!! It's is modern and easy to use.. Thank you

I had another stereo just like this before car theives stole it. So I look on Best Buy for a new one. Wanted something simple so I got this one. Does the job. No complains here.

Purchased Pioneer radio to replace the stock radio in my 94 Ford Ranger. Nice radio but the buttons to select a radio station are small and close together so it can be tricky changing stations while driving.

My old radio stopped working on me I just wanted basic radio where I can just listen to radio instead of silence. It work just perfect I've had it for month and no problem.

I may have misunderstood from the get-got how hard it is to put a new radio in a car. But I spent over an hour on the phone in my first call to Bestbuy.com to get a new radio ordered that I had seen at the company's website. Turned out, I needed the four things: the radio, a wiring kit, a wiring harness and an installer. Two things could be sent to me: the radio and the wiring kit. But not the harness. That I had to buy at Best Buy, which is 30 miles away. Calling the store did not help since they would not take a credit card over the phone. Trying to put aside the harness for me until my installer appointment was a no-no. So, I had no promise that there would even be a harness for my installer on the day of the installation unless I came up to the store and bought one. I finally spoke to a store manager who said he'd put one aside. But this process took another hour on a phone. At the installation, the installer told me I needed another part, a box into which the radio would fit in the dash. The old box wouldn't do. Fortunately, the installer had one for me, and the installer and the installation went on without any further problems. In the end, I got a nice radio but sensed this is not a line of business Best Buy seriously wants to do. It's processes and procedures are very customer unfriendly. Then even posting to this thing, I have had to choose three nicknames so far to satisfy its demands. Why, who cares if I use my own name in my location? If Best Buy wishes to find me, they can use my unique email to do so.

This is not the most popular or best player but it does the job. It plays music with great quality and it has an AUX cable setting. If you want to save money, this does the basics well. no need to spend more.

It is difficult to tune this radio, as the scan goes extremely fast. After saving a station, it somehow unset. And the clock is difficult to read when the sun hits it. My car has 160,000 miles on it, so I just wanted a basic radio to replace the original one when it stopped working. But this replacement is EXTREMELY disappointing. Thank goodness I mostly just listen to one station in my car.

The radio was priced right. It was easy to install and it is wonderful to listen so it's very enjoyable. The display is easy to read for old people with bad eyesight as well.

I'm not impressed with this unit. I can't see the buttons to turn it off, to eject the CD (have to press a bunch of tabs till one of them works) and sometimes the volume dial doesn't work. I replaced my older one as the CD player stopped working for no apparent reason all the time and sometimes didn't work at all but I could see the tabs real well. Plus the station section never lit up, only when I pulled into my driveway! No one told me when I purchased this CD/radio combo that there would be extra costs for the proper collar and extra antenna needed. That came to quite a lot more. I also had to give up the connection to my steering wheel which allowed me to operate the volume and channels -- I hadn't known that prior to the installation. I Unless one has excellent vision, which I don't, sadly, anymore -- trying to figure out which tab is which takes a lesson in GeekSquad 101. I had no idea a basic radio/CD unit like this would be so complicated to operate! I operate it by Braille, my fingers roaming through the tabs until I get the one I was searching for in the first place!

Edgar Geek Squad installer did a great job friendly curtious goes out of his way to do a good job He explained everything to make sure customer is happy/

I have had players for the car before but this one is the nicest with the remote it makes it so much better. It is a first class machine and when I have another car I will get this brand over others.
