I had to upgrade from the first receiver in order to accommodate the climate controls for my particular car. Overall, I love it and I'm very satisfied. The only downside that takes some getting used to is the volume control for the radio. I have come to prefer using the steering wheel control over the small side buttons.

Great system. Wireless Apple car play is amazing. The screen resolution isn’t the greatest but it’s also not the worst. Works great in my 2013 Toyota Prius. Everything works as is. We tried using my wife’s android CarPlay and while it works you really can’t swap between apple CarPlay and android CarPlay Interchangeable very easily. It’s better to do one or the other, otherwise if your both in the car it starts to act weird switching between them. The pinch to zoom on Apple Maps doesn’t work but it works on android CarPlay google maps. This seems to be a software issue with Apple CarPlay and not the units fault as looking online other units for CarPlay also don’t support pinch to zoom on maps. Regardless you can just double tap to zoom in and that works well. Great unit!!

Nice upgrade at fair price. Carplay is a little wonky at times, but I hear that from other people with other radios too.

Good sounds and looks good in my car. Needed an upgrade and I’m very satisfied with the new addition.

so many issues trying to get this thing setup. I spent hours trying to get android auto wireless to work correctly, One issue I am just guessing I have to live with is my Galaxy s10 I cannot do bt audio if Android Auto wireless is setup. I have tried about everything and I cannot get that to work. Lets talk about the lack of clear instructions I have been installing my own car stereos since 1986 and have never scene an new unit with no wiring schematic(most older units even would have this on the unit it'self) but on all the paperwork I received and online I could never find it and just ended up having to guess. It sounds good but I have no idea how many hours I spent trying to get android auto wireless working.

Great head unit. Wireless CarPlay works very well. Sometimes it takes a minute to connect when leaving a wifi connection. Not a big deal. Paired with the iDatalink Maestro, it transforms the vehicle. Perfect interface with additional features that go beyond the factory system.

90% user friendly. Transition to Appleplay is a little confusing for me. I am overall satisfied.

The wireless CarPlay works pretty well, but the Maps apps lag; both Apple and Google Maps have a slight lag. There is a long delay in the touch controls. The wireless version of CarPlay is nice, and it usually works. I've come to realize that CarPlay itself is a bit clunky, and the wireless is the reason for the lag on the maps. But the lag on the touchscreen is specific to this receiver and for that reason I still say that overall it's "just okay." Not bad, but I don't think I'd buy it again. Probably worth the money to pay more for something that's more responsive.

The stereo is incredible!!! Having my backup camera working again in my truck has been a game changer. The install on the other hand has not been the best experience….

Not worth the money, the touch screen feels very dated. Sometimes you have to hit the volume up / volume down button several times ( 10-15) before it will acknowledge you.same with home screen button. Apple car play that is wireless is a plus but it doesnt make up for the poor responsiveness of the screen. I tried it for 6 months thinking i would get used to it. Will be replacing it in the near future.

Went with this because of the wireless CarPlay. Seem to work well. Nice replacement for the factory radio.

Fits great on the dash of my Toyota , Panasonic deck also has a buoy in amplifier for my front speakers and back speakers that we installed , produces great sound and I’m Very satisfied

I have had some problems upon install like jumping in the songs which is frustrating. The sound is good but not this problem. Will be taking back in to get fixed and hopefully solve problem. Spent quite a bit for whole system and expected better for price paid. Not quite as happy as could of been if everything worked properly.

To receive the best sound you must have the best radio and accessories This radio exceeded my expectations from the sound to the screen everything is superb If you are looking for better than this unit maybe for you.

Probably the best CarPlay/Android auto headunits I’ve used. You get Pioneer’s tuning features like time alignment, crossover, and speaker level adjustments and WIRELESS CarPlay (which is not usually availble for headunits at this price range)

I like the radio because I can use my phone to play the songs I have on it.It was a little confusing at first but once I had more time to mess with it is not to bad.

Wireless CarPlay is connected to very quickly after starting my car. Responds to hey Siri commands. Steering wheel controls volume, phone calls, and navigation. Excellent replacement for the radio that came with my 2015 Outlander Sport.

Simple to use and the wireless connection is awesome. Better sound than my stock stereo

I didn't think i would care about now having a volume nob but the on screen volume buttons are not very responsive and easy to miss if you aren't looking at the screen. Its slightly laggy but other then that its ok. Cant get the Sirius satellite radio to work either.
