It shakes slightly when you hit a bump on the road, and that makes me worried that's going to effect the components and connections in the long term.

I would suggest having the installer check the installation. The screen is held in place with about 10 screws, it should not move at all. The screen does make it front heavy, so the installer would need to make sure the chassis is properly secured.

Good but room for improvements

The display constantly dims and settings must be reset frequently. It also does not have the output as stated and needs an amp for sound quality. The screen positioning is good but tilt function is minimal at best. Its major flaw is as other reviews also state - is the connection to mobile devices. It repeatedly disconnects and often during calls. We have another Pioneer deck the 8400 series and it has been flawless in comparison. I do not recommend this deck at this pricepoint there are many other options on the market with less issues. I also do not recommend buying open box items in excellent or good condition as Best Buy did not check this unit and we had to order the missing cables from Amazon to use it.
