But here's the thing; I got it discounted for 60 to replace my old radio that did not have bluetooth and that had a broken auxiliary jack! So a sweet deal for me! This thing doesn't have a CD player, but then who uses CDs anymore? Other than that, works great and easy to setup. I don't recommend the app for it however; it just feels like it was thrown together and has a disappointing user interface. It contributes nothing. But still, I got it for a great price and it has completely improved my everyday drive to and from work.

Not a bad little head unit. Put this in my Wrangler just to get rid of the crappy stock unit. pairs quickly without needing to do anything... literally. turns on, pairs within 30 seconds and you're good to listen. sound quality is good. the phone app helps you tune it just right for your application. plenty of features. would be cool with RBG but blue isn't hard on the eyes either.

Cheap no frills radio. Better audio than the no-name knockoffs you find on the jungle site. Without the CD mechanism it's extremely short which is great because it gives you tons of room for wiring. Could gripes are I wish it had more options for what displays while a song is playing. And I wish it had illumination control that worked with the vehicles dimmer switch. You can set it to automatically go into day/night mode at certain times but with a setup like that it's obviously not going to be perfect. And the mechanism isn't overly smooth to remove the faceplate. It hangs up quite often.

The only problem I have with this radio is that once it links to your Bluetooth music player on your phone it won't disconnect so if you go and switch the radio to USB the USB music plays but in the background you hear the Bluetooth still.. you literally have to go into your phone and shut off your Bluetooth and then turn it back on just closing the music app on your phone will not do it it will auto start

Honestly the most perfect radio. Worth the price, even getting tbe CD version for $10 more would even be worth it. The Bluetooth works AMAZING - very easy to set up. Aux and usb work great too. I have not used the spotify or pandora apps on it so I don't know if it's workable. I do have an Android smartphone (Moto Z3 Play) so the Bluetooth works perfectly fine. Microphone is meh... -5/10 would not even bother putting it in. And it's VERY DISTRACTING where the Best Buy car tech people put it on my car. But it's what it is. All in all, 100/10 would buy it again.

The sound is great, the display is very difficult to see due to glare from the super shiny front and the brightness of the display cannot be adjusted. The app is okay but not the most intuitive or user friendly. The sound quality makes up for a lot of the other shortcomings.

Pioneer makes great products, I have used their receivers exclusively for 20 years. This radio is not the exception it is also great. Best Buy however needs to fix their descriptions. I ordered this model specifically because their specs say "selectable color illumination" - Yes. This is not the case, it is blue only. My '70 Dart is sublime green, I wanted green illumination, seems trivial but my OCD doesn't think so.

For a single din head unit this thing rocked from the second I put it in. I happened to catch it on sale, and I’m glad I did. Somehow pioneers are still the king of head units in my book for sound quality. Install went smooth and I don’t have anything to complain about. The performance per dollar is right here. Awesome purchase.

Absolutely loved this stereo it replaced my old pioneer stereo with no Bluetooth and this one just gets the job done so much more seamlessly very inconspicuous and doesn’t look tacky like a giant screen on an older car would look!!
