So, the watch turns because I cannot put it on it’s tightest link.

One annoying thing is the Sliding loop keeps sliding too much - the loose end keeps flapping

Poor Quality - Horween should be ashamed

Quality is very poor. It appears to be two very thin pieces of bonded leather, not the high quality full-grain that I would expect from Horween. I suppose this is what I should expect for $40, but it is disappointing with the Horween name for sure. Save your money and get a higher quality band.
